In anyone’s experience, has scindapsus (specifically treubii) grown slow for you all compared to other plants? I’ve had one for about 6 months now and it’s just now pushing out one leaf…it gets lots of east facing sun and I water it whenever the soil is getting dry using a moisture meter and finger check.

Any split leaf thaumatophyllum experts out there? This guy was gorgeous when I bought him two years ago (bigger) and by this spring looked almost dead (just a few leaves and so small and not split). Now he’s really perking up outside in the humidity. Any tips to keep him going strong when he has to come in for the fall/winter?

I’ve been wanting to put my new plants in new soil and heard FoxFarm is good for them. But I’ve read it has worm castings and I’m terrified of finding a worm in my indoor plants. How do I prevent that from happening or what soil do people recommend ?

What do I do to make her look better? 😵💫 I’ve never used a moss pole and tried to tie her on one but I have leaves going in every direction and some are backwards. I have a few leaves folded over on itself and one flimsy sun damaged leaf. It looks pitiful

Can we talk about ordering plants online…. 😒 How are y’alls staying alive? I’ve only ordered 3 and they’ve all come with root rot. They were all in transit for less than 4 days & came well packaged in sphag moss. Is it because I live in Florida? Help 😭

A few weeks ago my y neighbor gave me several house plants that she was getting rid of before she moved. She has done this in the past always with plants that were usually drowning in drain free pots (last year it was a blueberry bush and blackberry canes). This time was no exception as not only did the houseplants not have drainage everything was planted in peat moss. 🤦🏼♀️ The aloe plants she gave me had no roots at all and was beyond my ability to save. She also game ma a snake plant that wouldn’t stay upright due to the peat not being able to keep it from falling over. Lastly, I got a basket with Zz plants that had fallen over and tubers were completely exposed. I immediately got them in succulent soil and put them in a sunny spot in the living room and kitchen. Tonight I was doing a bit of housekeeping and discovered wonderful new growth on the repotted plants. The snake has an entirely new leaf that I completely missed seeing when it sprouted but it is already huge. The ZZs were split into separate pots and now both have sent up new shoots. I know it is pretty silly to be this happy about new growth but since it is my first time with either of those plants and they were not well when o got them I just feel like they are giving me an “atta girl”! 😂
