Overgrown rose bush I believe. How can I trim it so it can bloom? Do I need to make it a lot smaller?
As I was repotting, I accidentally broke of the branches, it’s still sort of attached but I taped it for now. Is that the right thing to do? Also do I water my plant after repot?
Planta is telling me this is a Chinese Money Plant but it has a tear drop shape that is slightly different. Is it? If so does it require the same sort of care?
Hello!! Today I got a venus fly trap! Looking for any and all tips and tricks Tysm!!!
Greeting! I have this beautiful rose bush that was planted 4 years ago.. we moved in and i would love to get this baby blooming by the next few years. Except idk how to do that just yet. Advice would be appreciated. But do y’all see this stump that’s in the middle? I get these different type of foliage and I use to think it was maybe weeds or part of the rose bush. But Honestly I can be wrong, idk but I would like to prep this baby but I feel like whatever was planted there came back and they are fighting for water along with the grass around it. (Our mower broke so excuse the overgrown grass) So I’m planning on putting mulch on top and spacing it soon but that’s all I got so far.
This app killed my purple desert rose 😭 it said it needed full Sun but it ended up getting sunburnt. She was so pretty I don’t think I can bring her back.
Anybody know a good fertilizer that is good for all plants?
ok so i don’t know what happened…but i was watering my ivy last night and there was a…well a mushroom in the pot. 😳 ummm, i don’t know how because i definitely didn’t plant a mushroom in there but i was wondering if this is common and maybe it just came from the dirt i used? but i was also wondering if anyone might know what kind of mushroom?? i don’t know if it’s toxic or not and i’m a little nervous 😅
Hello everyone, this is my Alternanthera ficoidea “Snow Queen” named Whiteout. I’ve had her for at least six months now and beginning about a couple weeks ago, he started dropping leaves like crazy. Can anyone help me on why this is happening?
Y pink princess philodendron does have some pink! But its all on the underside of the leaves :/
Hi, I’ve posted a few times about this plant before but EVERY time there is new growth, one leaf dies. They have all turned pink/orange and then become dead, this is the third or fourth leaf that’s done it. People said it was sunburned, so I constantly rotate the plant now and mostly keep it in bright shade. What am I doing wrong? I can’t seem to retain any leaf, even though new ones are growing. You can click on the plant to see photos from previous months. Thanks in advance 🫶🏻
Hello! I recently repotted my spider plant about a month ago! At first it was not doing very well adjusting. But now it’s roots have shot down extremely fast! I can see it through the clear cup whenever I water. And whenever I do water the soil goes dry in about 2 weeks. I was wondering if that is because of the roots growing so long or something with the soil. It is in a catus and soil mix, by a/c that is sometimes on, and gets 6+ hours of west facing sunlight! Thank you in advance ❤️
Does anyone know what this cutting is? The app identifies it as a pencil cactus but I have a hard time believing that since it has nodes, and it’s thick and hard
I would do this, anyone else? ✨🌿
i went to move my plants under my grow light tonight and realized my snake has these grey spots on it with some yellow bumps. it has been sitting near my new corn plant which i cleaned off the other day because i thought there was dried water on the leaves and the grey is back on the corn plant as well. these two plants sit next to each other on the same table. is this a fungus? how do i cure?
Curling and drooping leaf..Someone help 😩..Anyone know what could be wrong?
Here’s one of my favorite local coffee shops. The ambiance is similar to others I’ve gone to, but this one has real plants! It sells plants too 😉🫠
My Pink Lady is growing which is great, but it’s got two tall stems. Is there a way to make it more bushy? #newplantmom #needallthehelp
Need some help with my FLF, I brought it home already potted from Home Depot a few days ago, I’m guessing it’s going through some stress of being in a humid green house, to an air conditioned home. The front of the plant is looking great and when I turned it I noticed some browning of the leaves where the shade is in the back. I watered 3 cups today, it’s around 4.6ft tall. It has a drainage hole on the bottom and no water actually came out but the soil at the bottom and the top feels perfectly moist throughout. Since it was dry I did not want to over-water. It dried out quicker than I thought it would, it was fairly watered a few days ago when I brought it home. I cleaned the leaves and pruned some of the brown spots, but I’m wondering if I need to turn it daily to make sure that doesn’t happen again? I’ll get it on a watering schedule now that it’s home and I cleaned the leaves off. Very temperamental plant! Any advice is helpful :)
