Just repotted this African Violet I saved from Lowe’s yesterday. I though she was in decent shape until today when I noticed that she was overwatered. Her bottom was leaking disgusting stuff, so I realized that the water got to her roots. I immediately did a repot with new soil and made sure she had all that bad soil off of her. Her roots didn’t look the healthiest, but I can only hope that with this repot she will be able to live better and recover! ☺️

Hi there! So I rescued this Corn plant and have been growing it in water. It has done so well, when purchasing it did not have any leaves on top besides some brown dead ones. But now I would like to transition it to soil. Should I cut the brown from the bottom of this plant and just keep the small little white roots ?? Any advice please!

Does anyone have plant recommendations for Phoenix? Temperatures can reach up to 113 during summer. I have found that a lot of my plants are getting sunburnt or are stressing out because of the heat and dryness. Thank you!!

Hi! I’ve had this plant for a few months now and it hasn’t grown any new leaves :( it also has had like 3 big leaves die off and I just wanna make sure I’m taking care of it right

I bought billy (Abutilon hybridum) from a local, family owned business. I forgot to get soil at the time to repot and I struggled to keep him hydrated. He was so root-bound. Since I repotted, boom! I can’t even count how may flower buds he has now.

My house plants all of a sudden have like fruit flies or nats flying around them. This one here I think is the source. I know I need to repot this with the correct soil which I will be doing asap. Anyway I can get rid of these bugs?? I absolutely hate bugs and I hate the thought of having to get rid of this new cactus because of them. Please help. Thanks I’m advance!

Today on what is that plant??? Rescued 4 months ago with severe overwatering and root rot. It dropped almost all leaves and I thought it was a goner, but my 7 year old couldn’t part with it. Now it is putting out tons of new leaves! Mature leaves are long, purplish green with silver. Serrated edges. Stems are similar to a begonia but leaf style/ branching more like a nerve plant. It was labeled “twilight lush” wanting shade and medium watering but seems to actually prefer mixed sun and light watering. Help a mama out. 😬

favourite plants thread 🪴 what’s your favourite plant of all time? attach a photo if you own it, i’d love some wish list inspiration! it’s tough, but mine is the peperomia hope! i’ve attached a photo of mine. i recently cut it back to propagate & encourage new growth. it’s a simple plant, quick growing, and i’m a sucker for trailing plants with small, succulent leaves. (i also posted this is “post your plants” so i apologize if you see the post twice!)
