Hey guys, I feel silly asking this… my zebra plant succulent is flowering, but at the base of the stem. It looks like a new plant growth? Is that possible? It has the same coloring pattern and texture.

Can someone give me a little fern insight? I water it when Planta tells me to, it’s in a window sill getting enough sun. However, I feel like I’m watching a slow death.
Anyone have any idea what kind of bonsai this is please?
Would love to start a thread for everyone to share their favorite names for plants. Feel free to share as many as you want! Just thought it’d be a fun thread to make for anyone stumped on coming up for a name. I’ll start! A few of my favorites for cacti include Spike, Pickles, Prickles, Terry, Fluffy, and Cuddles. Another example: this is my Variegated Jade Plant, Valerie. Some other ones I’ve used include Penny, Julie, Lily and Molly (they’re twins), Wanda, Xochitl (Xochi, for short. I’m Raramuri and wanted to use a Nahuatl name in honor of the succulent being native to Mexico), Elena, Aslan, and Lucy.
Had to show of my girl’s hard work! May 14th-Now 🤩🤩
Anyone know anything on this brand of soil. I’m going to repotting Chinese hibiscus. I didn’t have time to go into town got my FoxFarm soil. If this isn’t good I’ll not use it.
This little rubber plant was on the brink of death and we brought it back, mostly because of this app! It’s got new leaves and doing well. However there is about a foot and a half of nothing. Is there anything to do about that? I’d hate for it to get tall and then be super unstable but I don’t think I can cut it and replant it.
Can anyone tell me why my tomato plant is yellowing ? Is it too crowded with 2 plants ? One is a beefsteak and other is a cherry tomato. It’s still pushing out tomatoes but the whole plant is yellowing, other plant is fine. This one produced first, I’ve gotten a lot of cherry tomatoes off it already but it’s been yellowing for a couple weeks now and I’m not noticing improvement. Should I be giving plant food every water ? I’ve given plant food, coffee grounds, banana water (not all at once) I don’t know what to do !
Hi I am new
I’m almost done ✅
Just got a new Chinese money plant in the mail. I just watered him and gave him a little food. Does he just need sun or is there possible damage from shipment?
Anyone else in MO? They’re drowning!! But hoping they’ll all be ok with drainage holes and mixed easy drain soil!
This small piece came off of my succulent should I put it on soil or is one not enough ? 😅 never owned a succulent !
Getting a lot of little mushroom looking things in my pots soil. What to do?? Any help?
Is this ok for soil and additives I’m repotting Calatheas, Prayer plants, Pilea, Peperomia plants
Hey, planters! Here's a group activity for anyone who wants to participate. Show us your current problem child. Even the best plant parents have one 😉 I'll go first... Name: George Plant: Goeppertia elliptica "vittata" Problem: Yellowing and crispy leaves (not visible because I remove them; I think the leaf to the bottom left is next in line). Also hella infected with fungus gnats 😒 No need to reply with care advice, just giving us a place to vent a bit about our little guys 😂
I know this is more of a house plant app, but I’m about to have some monster tomatoes on this heirloom Terra Cotta variety 🍅 😂 petition to start a veggie plant group haha (I couldn’t find one ☹️)
Can anyone tell me what this white stuff is on my inch plant?? I’ve been out of town for a few days and just noticed it when I got back. Everything else on the plant looks healthy but I just wasn’t sure if I should be concerned about this??
LOVE new growth!
Pretty exciting to see my Maranta getting ready to flower!
