What is my son & DIL doing wrong?? Plant in south facing windows.. overwatering or under watering or something else?? I started chopping off the dead leaves and no sign of pests ..and the new leaf is pale and limp

I got this for Christmas and just wanted to say happy new year to all the plant people of the world! can someone tell me what the heck is going on with my zz plant 😂😮‍💨 the leaves were starting to look light green / almost yellow so i was like let me check the roots (which are total mush)… what are these bulbs? also in the second picture in the center it looks like a popped bulb? all i can do is laugh. i’m pretty good at keeping things alive but of course one of my ‘easier’ plants decides to do this LOL

why has 1 of my neon pothos leaves gone like dotty yellow?

My polka dot plant used to be lush and beautiful with bright pink and green! Is it normal for it to grow out a lot then die off? It looks like there’s new growth in the center. So I’m wondering if I need to trim or cut off the old long dying leaves?? Any input would be greatly appreciated 🫶🏼

What is the best and most effective insecticide spray for plants? The thing I had isn’t a certain brand or anything I think I got it from Walmart awhile ago and it started leaking so I threw it out.

My bird of paradise started producing new leaves in October and… they’re still not out/fully grown? I’m thinking probably because it’s winter but I’m not sure and starting to get a little worried. Should I do anything to help or leave it alone? Does going dormant hurt these leaves?

why are all of my peperomia raindrop leaves going black on the stems and going soft and coming off, i only have 2 leaves left, im scared ill lose the plant as its my favourite.

how do i style my houseplants? they just look like random pots around my room, and also take up 70% of my space.

Hello there, Just wondering if there is any appropriate season to repot indoor plants? I’d like to take advantage of the holiday break and repot some of my overgrown succulents to bigger pots, but not sure if winter is a good time to do so. Thanks!

Currently fighting the urge to throw half my plant collection in the green bin due to a thrip infestation 🫠. Went to buy new potting soil today and ended up with more plants following me home, of course.
