Does this look like a fair amount of sun?
Help! - I’ve been growing cat grass in a tiny amount. and it got really hot in the summer (I’m in Vancouver) sooo now poor bud is yellow and crispy. annnd idk if it can be or worth saving, or is he toast?
After my orchid turned brown I cut it all the way down to the base. I do water it about once à week, but do people recommend using orchid plant food? I have some and used it for a bit (I think it’s what caused the flowers to turn brown, which was my error) but not in a while and am just wondering, during this season of no growth, should I water and use plant food still as regularly?
hi everyone. does anyone know why my african violet leaves are in an upright position? when i first got the plant the leaves did not stand up straight. is it possible this plant is getting too much light?
All of my outside plants are doing so good and now it’s starting to get fall weather. Will any of them survive the winter or do I just say goodbye?
Omg new favorite online plant shop! It’s hard to beat a good local shop and picking out your own plant, but sometimes they just don’t have what you want. PlantyTown had a nice selection, great newsletter promotions, and man I never knew packing could be so good!! They came all the way from Texas to New Hampshire in 2 days from placing the order 😱 The plants were $13.37 each after promo. Crazy good price imo. I got two free cuttings. The P. hastatum didn’t make it unfortunately, but I can’t really complain since I didn’t even know I was getting it in the first place. I love these plants so much already 🥰 I haven’t seen a paraiso verde this size ever. They’re usually starter plants that are too small to bet on or really big and expensive. So exciting! Sorry to sound like an ad lol but I see some of y’all out there every now and then asking about good websites
Rabbits foot fern is looking tragic, and ideas on what’s wrong and how I can fix it?
It’s refreshing to see a bug on my plants that does not trigger an immediate urge to kill!😆🐞 I’m hoping I don’t get post traumatic stress disorder from fighting mealy bugs, spider mites and fungus gnats.
Had a problem today with my seemingly healthy zz plant and BOOM!!! Root rot, no smell and mite! So this is just a reminder to check your plant EVEN if they look healty (i had to tottally repot and root clean 4 out of my 7 plant)
I just got my first ever string of pearls! Do you guys have any advice to keep it healthy and happy?
Hello! Anyone know of online classes geared towards indoor horticulture?
Bought this guy one month ago from Walmart. I have yet to water it as it’s still a bit moist under the top inch. Should I be concerned?
My Norfolk pine is dropping his needles a lot I need help if anyone knows how to help him please tell me
I have an umbrella tree that I’ve had for the past 2.5 years. I’ve never repotted it. It’s been doing really well and grows like crazy. Should I repot it into a larger pot? Or leave it be?
I've been thinking about soil lately & I currently use Miracle Gro for all my plants but I've heard lots of good things about this soil. Should I try a new soil or stick to Miracle Gro? #miraclegro #espoma
Hi! Does anyone know what kind of tree this is? During this season we get these seeds all over the ground! :)
what is this new growth on my white knight? very bottom of the plant, an old leaf completely snapped there months ago and it’s just calloused over, until now it’s putting that out. is it a new leaf or stem? the top of the main stem still has growth points of course, coming out of previous leaves so i’m not sure what it’s doing…
got this plant today and it wondered if anyone has any tips for its care? i work from my office only 2 days a week so i’m trying to decide if i can leave it here in the north facing window or if i should bring it home with me because it will need better light / more frequent watering schedule? i also plan on repotting it in a ceramic pot with tropical soil. TIA 🫶🏻
Cory Black is doing good
