any tips for moving water succulents to soil ? this succulent was originally in soil but i placed it in water to grow more roots since it didn’t have much.

Hi all! I recently got this plant (Dracaena Rikki - also called a corn plant?) from PlantVine. The first picture is from when they shipped it (Sep 27), the second is when it arrived at my house (October 2), and the third is what it looks like today. I did repot it on October 7(ish?) because I thought it might be root bound. I had Planta diagnose it and it said it was under watered, so I watered it and now it says it’s overwatered. It’s obvious to me that it’s dying (quickly), but I can’t figure out what’s wrong. It’s in a south facing window at an ambient temperature inside. Any advice? It’s a beautiful plant that I would love to save.

I finally repotted my neon syngonium, it was in desperate need. I went ahead and made my own soilless aroid mix as well, after doing some research and gathering what I needed for my the substrate. I am interested to see how it goes

hello all! haven’t been on this app for awhile , my flamingo lily has been recovering from root rot in water for awhile now. it’s been giving new growth points, all though there’s this dark brown stuff around the plant? is that still a sign from ongoing root rot ??

My umbrella tree is not doing too well. It’s leaves are browning and dropping. I have checked the soil and it seems to be pretty dry after the last water. It was pretty far from the window a few days ago but I have just moved it to window side. How long before I should see any improvement?

The only light source in my bedroom is directly on the window but as it’s getting colder, does anyone know the best way to keep my tropical plants nice and warm? Should I move them away from the window and get a grow light? Should I get a heater of some sort for them? I don’t want my poor bbs getting chilly😩

Guess who just discovered the “fun” way that one of her (quite large) plant’s drainage tray has holes in it?! 😃 Spoiler, it was me This is the second time too!!! But luckily it’s nothing a little duct tape can’t fix. It took three beach towels to clean up!!!

Anyone have ideas about dealing with plants and cats? Just adopted a cat and I have a huge thaumatophyllum I can’t bear to get rid of, but my cat seems interested in it and it is moderately toxic. I ordered some bitter apple spray and got her some cat grass. Not sure where else I would put it because it’s so big. Any ideas appreciated!
