Getting ready to repot my SOP! I just got him yesterday and his pot is a little crowded 😬 Anyone know what kind of soil I should use or if he is going to survive the move to a new pot? Pls help, he’s my first SOP and I don’t want him dying☹️

this is gonna sound like a bad question probably- but i am a new plant mom hahahah. when misting, do i mist the leaves only? the soil only? or both? is it necessary to mist if the humidity is fine for my plants. also- i have been bottom watering my monstera when about three inches of the soil is dry, but for some reason i feel like it’s drying out every quickly on like day 2-3. should i bottom and top water? or just water it more?

Any idea why my money tree is growing certain leaves like this? She is kind of bushy and throwing out a lot of new growth. Could it be an over / under watering issue? She’s growing great. I did just repot her but the leaves started this before I repotted.

HELP! I just planted this purple wisteria in April. She sprouted on May 8th and already has a root growing through a drainage hole. do i repot her or is it still too early? there isn’t any browning or any other issues

I recently got a Alocasia Silver Dragon and i am wondering what is the best way to increase humidity without buying a humidifier. Should I stick to misting every other day which I am currently doing, or are other methods better such as the pebble trays or bringing it into the bathroom every other week when I shower. I just what to give it the best humidity I can without having to buy a humidifier.

Anyone know if this is a golden goddess?

hey all! i have this ~7 year old lucky bamboo that has been in rocks for a while without a drainage hole and it was looking a bit sad - and then i moved it into a terracotta pot with rocks and it started looking worse - and transferred it into a cup of distilled water in partial sun - can anyone tell me whats going on with the stem? i know the plant is very old for a bamboo but its the last remaining part of my grandma that we have (also to the right in the first picture is a smaller cutoff that i propagated and is thriving in the water)

Hi everyone! I am in need of some advice. I got this beautiful elephant ear from Home Depot about a month ago. He is currently in a 10 inch pot and is about 2 feet tall. It seems like he is drying out quicker than he was when I first got him (he’s growing FAST!). Does anyone know when I should re pot him? And if so, what size pot I should move him to? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

Im thinking about planting a couple Alocasias in leca. Does anyone have tips about growing them in leca such as fertilizing, how to transfer into leca, how to set up leca etc? Ive heard of the NSW setup so if anyone knows about that please let me know too.

Just got these 2 babies as “assorted foliage” can anyone help me know what they are?? Thank you!

My philodendron keeps curling its leaves and now is getting brown spots. I checked the roots and they seem okay and no pests were found. Any help would be appreciated. 6/6/2023. I repotted in an indoor potting mixture (it was all I had today). The main root seems white but I know the small roots are dark and thin. I am hoping this will help. It’s such a gorgeous plant and I hate that it looks so sad.

My fiddle leaf has brown spots on the leaves is this from to much water?

Help!! I have a song of India plant and all of its leaves are dropping. this happened a few months ago and it killed the plant. the roots are strong and it gets good light for almost all day. if you have any ideas help!

These are my new Dracaena Lemon Lime and Alocasia Silver Dragon! I’m wondering if anyone has any tips on keeping them alive and looking this healthy! Any tips about anything at all!!

This guy got leggy so I chopped it. Does anyone know why the new growth is coming in so wonky? Is it a calcium deficiency or underwatering possibly?

Hello, new to gardening here! I’ve recently planted corn, bush beans, potatoes and peppers in an outdoor garden and I also have potted strawberries and a rose bush. In searching for the best fertilizer/ plant food I can use for all I have seen many suggestions for worm castings. Does anyone here have any experience using this for all types of plants or any suggestions?
