Hi all, I have a silver sword that is putting out tons of new growth (it was grown from some cuttings off my son’s plant). However the older the leaves get, they appear to be yellowing. Any idea what’s causing it? It sits under full spectrum lighting and is watered when the soil is dry. I’ve actually skipped waterings suggested by the app because it was still wet.
I hope this falls under the “anything about plants” category! I thought y’all might appreciate this blanket I got for the holidays!
So I have decided to have one of my new year resolutions be getting into house plants the way I’ve always wanted to. I started a bit early, but I wanted to get everything all set up and a pretty little plant picked out. So here she is, meet Geneva! Excuse the pet hair in the background, hahah. Dogs and cats make it impossible to get rid of. With all that being said, do any other fur parents have recommendations for some low maintenance pet friendly plants?

What type of pest does this damage. I bought a big philodendron scandens off of someone on Facebook marketplace and loads of the leaves has this damage. I’ve removed them and have got loads of wet sticks and a few healthy leaves which I’m going to propagate because I’m tired of pests. I feel like I can’t trust people selling plants on Facebook marketplace anymore because the plants have had issues the last three times.
Anyone know what kind of plant this is? It was gifted to me
My elephant ear needs help! A week ago it rained pretty hard and one of the leaves on my elephant ear took a big hit. I started noticing that it is also beginning to turn yellow but I have it on a watering schedule and haven’t missed a day so I don’t think it’s a watering issue. Any suggestions on how I can make her green again or do I need to cut her off?
Hi plant peeps! ❤️ I need string of pearls help! The picture on the left is of my SOP about two months ago. and the other pic is my SOP currently. It’s definitely shrinking and dying but i’m not sure why. I can’t tell if i’m overwatering or under watering or if it’s another problem. I water about every 3 weeks as planta suggests if that’s helpful. Lmk if you have any questions and i would love your input on how to save my SOP!! Thank you! 😊

Newest leaf on my alocasia watsoniana, also repot it into a bigger pot. I also repot my anthurium papillilanium, my crystal hybrid and then my philodendron billie. Also I’m looking a good usb mini fan for my cabinet, any of yall terrarium keepers have a good one?
Can anyone help? My oilcloth flower has always thrived but this winter it’s shown up these marks on the leaves. Any thoughts? It still has flowers (although less due to winter) but I wondered if it’s perhaps mineral deficient or due to being too cold?
Hi guys and hope you had a happy holidays! I got some new grow lights for Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any tips for how to use them and what different settings are best. Also knowing how to manage them with plants that have different lighting needs would be helpful too! thanks!
Is there another name for a Guy Savard Begonia? I’ve tried looking online and Planta isn’t pulling anything up…added it in my Planta collection under “Cane Begonia”
HELP! My Alocasia “Regal Shields” keeps flopping over. Currently using a paper towel roll to try to keep it upright. I don’t want this bad boy to die on me!! I’m also worried about the leaves flopping over the edge…
