Hi!! Just wanted to say I’m very new to plants so I don’t know much about them. I got this rubber plant just today and there’s these tiny greenish/white dots on every leaf, mostly around the border. Is this something I should be worried about? Also, I’m corrently spraying the leaves down with some soap diluted in water, then wiping them clean. Is that good enough to clean them well? I don’t want any pests or something like that!

Is it possible that a plant comes in too big of a pot for its size roots?? I bought an Ivy a few months ago in a 4 in pot but her soil took forever to dry and it developed brown edges. I took it out and the plant barely has roots? Like they’re so tiny! I put it in a 2 in pot, so I hope that’s the right move

what is this weird growth coming from the stem of my anthurium cryXmag? it’s not growing a new leaf yet it just put one out, but it’s starting to grow that weird stem looking thing at the top, and it keeps getting longer and longer😳 is it a flower stem?

I have had this plant for a few months now. All of the original leaves fell off over time and they were replaced with smaller green leaves. It was doing well, I thought, until I noticed the leaves are starting to grow brown spots. Not sure what I did wrong, but it has lived in the same corner for its entire existence so I have a hard time thinking it’s due to a light issue. Please help I don’t want her to die on me 😭

Embarrassing but it happens. I totally over tortured this poor maranta. Potted it wrong, over watered etc.. it’s being blasted with humidity and some parts look like they might recover. Would you pull out what looks good and separate and prop the rest and see what happens before it declines more?

Okay, I’m new!! I need advice to keep my plants during the winter. I have 10 plants outside. Can I keep them in living room by window with a grow light or are they better off in basement with grow light??? I need recommendations for the type of grow light that is best. Thanks
I’ve got this mystery cactus and can’t figure out why it started dropping so much. The roots are fine and I repotted it to a smaller pot with better drainage so it’s not in this white one anymore. This white pot didn’t have drainage so I was always stingy when watering it because I didn’t want root rot and I’m thinking maybe it’s just really dehydrated? A few hours ago I gave it a bunch of water and am hoping to see a change? I also put a stick in it to hold it upright. The cactus isn’t squishy but the base isn’t as thick as it was a few weeks ago and looks just the faintest bit shriveled. I’m new to cacti so any advice would be sooooo appreciated ❤️ have a great day!
