Novice Grower
Need help identifying this plant. Thought I was growing a Desert Rose, but now not so certain cause the stem isn’t as thick as the ones I’ve seen.

Did you know that tomatoes and potatoes are in the same family, nightshade? This means you can graft them together and harvest for french fries and ketchup from the same plant. Which is phenomenal

My stepmom recently bought a Venus fly trap for my little brother around three days ago. It isn’t doing too well, a lot of it has died. I don’t even know if they watered it since they’ve had it. Am I gonna be able to save her? I’m very new and me and my brother only have one plant each. I just don’t want my brother to be upset. I caught a fly and placed it on the mouth or whatever those heads are. But it still hasn’t opened up to eat it. Don’t know what to do :(

Can y’all help me identify this plant, I keep scanning it, and it keeps coming up with Hoyas, ficus’s, and pothos but it isn’t any of those. Or at least not that I can tell, its leaves are not crazy thick like a ZZ or Hoya. If y’all know please let me know, I wanna make sure it’s getting the best care!

Hi guys! Please help 😭 this is my lil zebra plant Dink. I got him from a hardware store on sale cause he was pretty much dead and only had the one big leaf when I got him. I brought him back and he was such a happy little plant growing new leaves and he was doing so well 😭 but then a few days ago I noticed he was drooping so I watered him a bit more and when he hadn’t perked up the next day I took his tiny pot out of his big pot and realized he was lowkey drowning 😅 so I poured out the excess water and put him in his tiny pot on a paper towel in warm weather so he could dry out. I don’t think he has rot root, I checked yesterday but I’m not 100% sure what it looks like so I’m not 100% sure. Just out of all my plants, Dink means the most to me cause I got him at a really hard time and I was really proud of his progress 🥺 thanks in advance guys, keep on planting on yall 💛

Ugh, I am done with string of pearls lol, for the life of me I can’t keep one alive. Just when I think I have a system down for it, it just kaputs on me after a month and almost dies. I’m just going to forget about it and let nature take its course lol. 🫡

Anyone have any secrets for how to get my rubber plant to grow? Haha I’ve had it for months and months. When I got it, it threw a new leaf and since then it hasn’t done anything. It has only dropped one leaf! It’s healthy but it’s boring lmao I want a new leaf!! Should I repot a size up?

Odd question, but does anyone know anything about dogs and plant allergies? My little girl has very severe allergies. They're so bad that I put puppy pads down in the house and don't even let her out if the pollen level is high. I have air conditioners on constantly, three air purifiers and two humidifiers. Even with her allergy meds she's still all snotty. Someone suggested maybe my house plants. I have quite a few but most are in the succulent family. Have any of you had a problem with this? I don't want to be giving away any plants unless I'm sure. TIA

I’m hoping to save my mum’s plant, does anyone have any advice please. It doesn’t actually have any roots, it’s just stuck in the soil at the moment. My mum’s upset to see it suddenly break/start to die, she says it’s been doing well for over two years until now. I think it’s a peperomia hope but I’m not sure! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

I’ve had this Maranta/Prayer Plant for a few weeks, and I can’t seem to get the leaves to unfurl. When they arrived they were fully unfurled and happy and then at some point they curled up like this and have stayed this way since. Any ideas? I’ve tried it in-front of a grow light and not, and letting it get dry and then watering it thoroughly. Any advice would be appreciated! My first time with a Maranta!
