Hello! I have a question, I’ve had this golden pothos for I think 2 years, and it’s in the same pot it came in, and the same soil too. I’m kinda worried about checking out the roots to see what I have to work with once i get it a pot. Do you guys think I should check the roots out tomorrow?

Would you recommend splitting this Bird of Paradise up? I would wait until the spring of course.

Hi! I have been dealing with mealy bugs for a while now and I don’t know how to tell if they are gone. My plant still has many leaves dropping from it but I haven’t seen any bugs for a couple weeks now. I have been using rubbing alcohol to get rid of them and I’m wondering if this is residue from the rubbing alcohol or if it from the bugs?

Hi random question my purple velvet plant looks like it’s growing something and I have no idea if it’s a new plant (I haven’t had any new leaves grow since getting it just got bigger) but I’m confused as it looks like tiny mushrooms any ideas?

Hi everyone! I am repotting my satin pothos per the recommendation of most people here. It hasn’t been able to take much water for like a year. It looks like mold growing, when I just took it out of the pot? Should I repot as planned, or is the plant too far gone? Thanks!

Does anyone know where I could buy a nice monstera deliciosa? I went to Lowe’s the other day and got myself an orange prince but I was really contemplating getting a monstera. Sadly the ones at Lowe’s looked rough and there were gnats crawling out despite the soil being dry. Does anyone know where I could get a small one online?

I have Osmocote plus, is this acceptable to use for “green plants” or what fertilizer is recommended for “green plants”

When do you think I should bring plants in from this enclosed porch? It’s double glazed but with no heating and it’s starting to feel chilly in the mornings, but no frost yet. I definitely think the monstera and mini monstera should come in soon. Not sure about the cactus or succulents. What do you think, clever planty people?

Why is it so difficult to identify plant pests! Little white bugs on my snake plant today:( Did not even get a photo before I started treating with insecticidal soap and peroxide drenching. I have the heebie jeebies just thinking about them possibly being spider mites. Anyone have a common issue with snake plants and pests? All of my other trees and plants do fine but my snake plant is constantly giving me unwanted guests

Just picked up this friend from the side of the road. I think it’s a star jasmine vine, but let me know if you think it’s something else.

help! just bought this plant at my local asian market for really cheap, and my best guess is that it is a philodendron persimmon princess (???) which can be valued well into the 600 dollar range but i’m not sure. any ideas? if it is, i would want to propagate some cuttings and sell them, but it’s just one big stalk with no visible nodes, just lots of aerial roots. any ideas on how i would propagate? thank you!!! (trying to make some money to buy even more plants hehe)
