I’ve noticed little fruit fly like bugs around my succulents lately. What are they and do they pose any harm for my plants? If they are harmful, how do I get rid of them? Any advice is appreciated. 💚

How do I add a grow light to a site?
My Albo is rotting! I had it in a bigger pot, and someone told me to repot it into a smaller one, which I did about two weeks ago to try to save it. However, I don’t think it helped. I think it’s time to cut the two leaves and try to save it. I’m just not sure where to make the cut because I’m new to this and nervous. Can someone help? Also, do I water propagate it afterward?
My giant sunflowers they are thriving, got bloom coming in!!!

Just got this Stock plant for Mother’s Day & was so pretty with blooms. Then they died & now are seed pods. Can I use them for new plants? I know some seeds don’t do well, but I thought those might work.
Good morning! Can anyone help me with my Zig Zag plant? I think it is aka Devil’s Backbone; Variagata, specifically. I have had it for almost 2 years and it’s slowly sinking. It has lost so many leaves-they used to be plentiful and pink & green in color. It also stays wet for such a long time. A month or so, I’d say, even though it suggests water once per week. Should I replant it? (Have already done so once) Move it somewhere else? It is currently outside on my covered back porch, east facing, no direct sun. I’m in zone 8b. She was a gift and one of my faves. I’m letting her down. Please help! TIA.
can i bring this plant back to life? i’m not sure exactly what plant it is. the stalks are weak and wilting but still are somewhat green. please help!!
Hello! I recently got some calathea plants and a polka dot plant, and I have some leftover potting soil and perlite mix. Does anyone know if this is a good enough combination for the polka dot plant? I tried to research on Google but I got 100 different answers so I thought I’d try here as well. This is the potting mix I have.
Hi guys! Recently my uncle gave me an Cubanelle (sweet pepper) plant and at the time I was unaware that this plant is poisonous to humans and animals. I really want to keep the pepper plant but I also don’t want to get me or my fur babies sick, what is the best thing to do?
hello everyone! i am a beginner at taking care of plants. I have aloe vera and a snake plant in my room which are very low maintenance and I got this peacock plant to challenge myself and to take care of it. for context, I live in Southern California and it is near a west facing window, but not right in front of the window because I read that it doesn’t like direct sunlight. Humidity, I have always struggled with maintaining and providing humidity to plants. I previously owned a polkadot begonia, and it didn’t work out. For this peacock plant, I wanted to post and get feedback or advice on how to maintain the healthy. Should I place it in the bathroom overnight to increase humidity. We all shower here in the morning, so it can receive a lot more humidity in the morning.
Any one know why my calla Lillie’s are closed up?
I inherited a Calathea Freddie about 6 months ago, it was looking ROUGH. There was absolutely no new growth in those last 6 months either! Decided to give it the BIG chop…. Look at all this new growth in only 2 weeks 🤩
I really think that people who love plants should be cautious of where their pots are coming from. I’ve seen so many people shopping for pots on SHEIN and temu or just using a lot of plastic pots, which are so bad for the environment. I just want to encourage y’all to think outside the box. Below are a couple plants and my current propagation projects. Instead of buying new glass wear for this I used thrifted salt and pepper shakers, used glass skincare bottles, an empty mason jar, and a used bath and body works candle. My point is you can help save our planet while saving money, and it’s a lot easier than you might think🫶 lots of love
