hello !! i am relatively new to gardening. i’ve begun my journey mainly with herbs, one of which is my spearmint. she’s doing wonderfully (many new sprouts), but there’s one thing i’ve never seen before — it actually has tree-like branches and a hefty, woody stem.
so as a newbie i ask: is this normal? is it actually the bottom of my plant being dead? did i just go my whole life without knowing that’s how spearmint grows? any explanation is appreciated greatlyyyy :)

Does anyone know what's wrong with my plant? It was thriving and flowering at least a month ago and now it's like greying and the leaves are slowly falling off

Wanted to show off this beautiful brand new leaf on my pride and joy: my rubber plant I propagated from a huge dying potted plant in an abandoned mall :)

Have you ever regretted giving away or selling a plant?
I’m getting ready to do a big plant sale in two weeks (like a yard sale, but plants). I have a few plants I’m on the fence about. I’m afraid I’ll miss them when they’re gone.
(The Sinningia, while pretty, is definitely going because I’m allergic to it! 😭)

I’m new to planting and been given the ones I have as gifts, I have only watched YouTube to know what to do this far but I have no idea what I’m doing.
This was a beautiful Peace Lily that had one flower, then it died off, I freaked and got sad cause I lived it but didn’t know that’s part of the cycle till I searched it. Anyways the bigger leaves turned brown, I removed them and was left with these smaller ones and little bundles I’m hoping will get bigger. Any help given is greatly appreciated.

It was a gift I got 2years ago and moved it from outside to indoors in March 2025. The peddles started to shrivel and fall off, now there’s only 2 peddles, is it because I have it indoors? Idk. I’d like it to bloom and be full again.

I have two different species of snake plants in the bottom right pot that was a gift and it has a new shoot coming out in the middle with a leaf that’s turned a light yellow.
The top pot has no changes, it was one leaf, cut in half by my friends dad and given to me to try out and he put a jade peddle and small peace lily bundle in as well, I think it’s over crowded but there’s no roots to any of them yet and it’s been a month having them. Any ideas or comments is welcomed.
trying my best🌱
i just rescued this friend from the grocery store and was wondering if she needed to be repotted, or just left alone for a little bit?
the soil is also bone dry so i will be giving her a little water, but i wanted to wait and see if she needed to be repotted first. thanks! :)

Can anyone tell me what to do about the “leggyness” of my rubber plant? She was in too cold of an environment and dropped bottom leaves. Shes okay now, 5+ new leaves being outside in 80-90 degree weather. Just not sure how to make her look full again.

What’s the best essential oils for keeping little bugs away? I have some bites on a few of my plants. I live in a forest area in the redwoods so I know it’s inevitable to happen. I use some neem oil mix currently but any tips or others that work better? Thanks in advance 🤍🥰

1. What type of plant is this?
2. What am I doing wrong?
I have had it for years and it has grown a LOT but then suddenly it seems to be overwatered any time I water it and loses leaves. It has not gotten any new leaves in over a year. Not sure what to do. I have included an old photo from a year and a half ago for reference.

I needed some advice on how to keep this guy alive and thriving. This will be my 3rd money tree. The other 2 died. They would be thriving and then boom. There would be fungus gnats and then die. Soul recommendations? How often do you water? Fertilizer? Anything helps.
Thank you in advance

I’m probably right but that’s not sufficient light for my tomato plant? And I guess I probably have the lights positioned wrong? 🤔😂

My Cordalyn (not sure of the spelling) isn’t doing too great. It hasn’t been… the tips of some of the leaves were browning so I trimmed them at the advice from someone here, but now all the bottom ones are dying and dropping. She was inside over the winter but I moved her outside at the start of spring. She’s in part sun, morning sun and I water her on Planta’s schedule which isn’t often but the soil doesn’t seem to her real dry. There’s definitely new growth on the top.

Does anyone know if there is a way to manually set the watering schedule in this app? The recommendations here leave my calatheas chronically underwatered and they're starting to get crispy because of it.

⚠️ advice needed ⚠️
Hi fellow plant lovers I’m in need of some emergency advice asap!
My nan recently passed away in March and today we have gone back to the house to do removals. We’ll all the plants were ofcorse dead after months of no water, BUT this parlour palm is really clinging on to life and I’d love to restore it for my nan.
What can I do?! (Repot and cut) but does she have a chance?

I finally found two of my favorite plants (Monstera Thai Constellation and Alocasia Frydek Variegated) at the same day. I went to the reptile convention near Atlanta today and I was lucky to see people selling these plants at the convention.
