Norfolk pine help please. What causes some needles to go brown. She is under a grow light 10 ft from a south window. Soil is still damp, watered about 1-2 wks ago. Northern BC climate indoors ( obviously, lol )

I am not ever trusting myself to go to Mulhall’s again. (I am definitely going to Mulhall’s to get more plants) I bought two plants, but I’m extremely happy with my purchases. Also, there is just some dry spots from tap water on the Raven ZZ, just an fyi

Hello! Maybe this is a stupid question but I need help. I use plant lights, because in my room I only have one window and it’s in a weird spot. If I set my plant lights on the lowest setting does that count as partial sun? 😅😊 Thanks!

I’m not sure which group to join / ask about my silver inch plant. I put 3 clippings into a pot and they have all sprouted straight up. When do I resize my pot and will she start to fill out and hang like a pothos? I’m also concerned because the leaves are starting to curl inward and I’m guessing it’s a lack of water but the soil feels damp still

What is the best fertilizer for plants, cactus and aloe plants? I’ve been using Foliage Grow and didn’t realize that was not fertilizer.

Is this a goner? I made a post about it a couple days ago. I’m honestly just at a loss. Backstory Ordered it online about almost 3 weeks ago arrived in perfect condition but I live in Michigan and it was -10° so I’m guessing it was cold shock due to the weird looking ends on some of them. I watered it and then I bought a pot for it like 23 days later repotted it watered it again and it’s just been wailing ever since so obviously too much water but now there’s a bunch of brown crispy spots. It’s been about a week and a half almost 2 weeks since I watered it It is in about a 4 inch pot 1 inch bigger than the root ball As of right now, the soil is 100% completely dry What do I do?

I need peace lily experts! I just got this huge new beauty but as you can see there is yellow droopy and dots. I need to know if the dots are a disease and how to fix this. I’ve had a peacefully before, but it isn’t doing good. I really want this one to thrive.

I’m thinking about selling a few of my plants, but given the winter weather, I’m leaning towards something like Facebook Marketplace to find someone local to take them off my hands rather than any option where I’d have to send them through the mail right now. I’ve never sold my plants before, so I could use some advice as to how to keep them warm during the handover process (since if I were to meet up with a buyer, it would go from my car to the frigid cold rn, into to their hopefully somewhat warmer car, taken out and exposed to the cold to get in the house, then finally given a chance to acclimate in their new home). I’m considering adding heat packs and putting them in a box, then gently wrapping them in a blanket or something to try keeping them warmer, but if anyone has any suggestions for how to package it and keep it as warm as possible during the transfer and trip to their house, it’d be greatly appreciated 🙏 TIA!

Guys, I fear my Transcendia is getting crispy. She has some brown spots! I have her under a grow light, the light is pretty close. I’m thinking of moving her to my office location where it’s more natural light, and maybe re-potting! She’s put out a lot of new vines from being under the grow light, but I am wondering if it’s just too much for her? 🤔💭🤷🏻‍♀️ Or does she look fine, and I am just crazy? 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

I finally set up my own office space - went a little crazy with it. Here’s my baby Arbequina olive, lithops, cast iron plant, and I also got some strawberry seeds sprouting!

Hello all! I’m new and have never been able to keep plants very long. I really want to keep them alive and healthy. I have a couple of snake plants in a room with no sunlight pretty much. The bedroom light stays on most of the day, but it’s not a grow light. Should I get a grow light or just set my plants out during the day? The daily in and out can be tough for me as i forget.

Does anybody know what kind of plant this is? Tips for successful growth?

Hi, I’m after some advice please on whether I should cut off the 2 brown leaves at the bottom of this Rubber tree? It will leave a very long stem with few leaves at the top. Will this look silly? I’ve only just started using this app and probably would have thrown this plant out. Just thought I’d check first if it can be saved. Thank you

My mother in law is stressed lol Any help would be appreciated. Is it over watered? Or needs humidity?

So I have a monstera never had one before I’m going on 2 weeks of having it. I watered it right away when I got it cuz I repotted it. Now going on week 2 and my app is saying I don’t water it for another 8 days. The soil is damn near completely dry, do I wait the 8 days or do I water like tomorrow. I have it in potting soil/perlite/orchard bark mix so it’s chunky. Also one of the leaves are turning my crispy at the end. That obviously means it needs more water? According to the app, it doesn’t want me to water it until about every 18th day. I feel like that’s not enough for a tropical plant. I mist every three days.
