My pachyclada, Pachi, is gonna bloom, and it’s adorable. 😆 Got him 7ish months ago, and he was literally one leaf and a runner. He’s grown six leaves since then (which includes two little, tiny leaves at the base of the runner that you can’t see in the pics), and I was surprised to see that he had a small, little peduncle too! Haha… He’s a happy hoya! 🥰

How do spider plants thrive? I’ve tried all different light levels, watering when super dry or slightly dry, and I still have all crispy tips and fading color. It’s only in this direct light for the picture, otherwise in bright indirect light. Should I switch to distilled water?

Back again with monstera journey!!! The way she has perked up so far since I first got her has been surreal!! She has become the highlight of my morning to sit down and admire. Thank you all for the amount of help as I’ve navigated my first plant! Feel free to leave me any advice, it is all welcome and appreciated.

This is my first FLF and she's grown so tall over 2ft since I got her last fall. but I don't understand how people get them more bushy instead of just one trunk. Her newest leafs are so much bigger than the last few. I finally got her some bamboo supports and started to shake her. Any advice? Also when I decide she's tall enough I hear I just chop off the new growth at the top?!?

Any tips on taking care of spider plants? And I’m guessing it’s time for a repot lol I got this plant a few weeks ago and just now checked its roots. How much of a bigger pot should I get for this? Btw I don’t keep this plant outside I was just going to water it out there.

Update on Hoya bloom. I could see a little nectar on the flowers so I tasted it (felt a little strange doing that) it is sweet. I still don’t smell anything.

A house finch decided to make my mother of millions its new home.

It's my first spring and summer in our new home and the former owners had extensive beautiful landscaping. We have about five hydrangeas and we thought we prune them correctly in the spring. Please forgive my lack of knowledge we have some of the old wood and the new growth and at this point I don't know if I should cut out the old wood and just let the new wood take over. Any guidance would be really helpful. And if I am supposed to cut them back how far down am I supposed to cut them.

i just got a tiny rose “bush,” i don’t have a deck or backyard so im going to try to keep her alive inside. i got a very big pot for her per the gardening expert’s recommendation. but i’m wondering if anyone has tips on how to keep indoor roses alive ?! i really don’t want to accidentally kill her, her name is petunia :)
