Repotting HELP! I repotted my bella palm about a month ago from this nursery pot to a plastic green pot (Measurements shown). !!! Was this too big of an upsize? And is it too late to put it into a smaller ceramic pot if so?

Hello everyone! I recently got this Ruby Rubber Plant from the clearance section, one of the leafs is damaged as seen in the photo below. Should I keep this leaf or cut it off? Thanks!

I love a good winter with lots of snow, but I'm way too pumped for this coming spring! So what are y'all most excited for next season? I'll go first: I buy those herb containers at the store (basil, rosemary, sage, and chives), but only really use a couple leaves before the rest turn brown. It's about time I have my own herb garden!

Hey plant friends :). So this is my miniature pine tree,, she is looking very sad. I asked plant dr and he’s saying I may have overwatered her so I am going to offer her more light and skip the next watering.. my question to you all is, would you cut the growth off to produce new growth and healthier leaves or should I just prune the dead leaves and leave it alone? Thanks!!

What plant would you recommend for this room? I’m looking for a tall-ish plant (like hip to chest height) that doesn’t mind shade, for on the right of the room. It is a north facing window that receives partial bright light but this is obviously lessened further into the room you get. It will be about 2 meters from the window. (Photos taken early afternoon)

What is the one plant in your collection that you regret getting? I’ll start: Bonnie curly Spider Plant. She looks pretty, but not only do I have frequent brown tips, but she is so dense at the base with all the curls, it’s impossible to see where you are watering and trying to clean dead leaves out.

Will a ZZ plant grow here? This is an east facing window but close to another house so shaded light and no direct light.

Back when I first got into a bit ‘harder’ plants, I bought one of these and it immediately kneeled over and died (I didn’t know what I was doing with it). Never did it ‘pray’ (where the leaves go up at night) even once. Fast forward to now after having more experience with calatheas, alocasias, etc, I bought another yesterday and in the day, it progressively got droopier which I worried about but now that the sun has set and the lights have come off, the leaves are coming up again! It’s praying - it’s alive!!!! I just hope it stays alive lol. ‘Prayer plant’ for all the prayers that it stays alive.

I was surprised to see a bud in my Chinese evergreen. I didn’t know they bloomed. I read in several places that you should cut the blooms off because the plant will put all its energy into the flower. Is this true? Does anyone have experience with this?

I’m so excited about this Audrey Ficus water propagation!! The leaves are starting to feel “gritty” and getting a few brown spots though.. But too soon to transition to soil right? Help!

I’m a little afraid of my Hoya 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ve had it hanging in a south facing window but it’s so cold I moved it today. Has anyone had success using a grow light with them?

(Left picture is old and plant seems to be doing better). Ok so i’ve struggled with identifying this plant for a long time. At first I assumed it was an Aloe or Haworthia and settled on Aloe, but after looking through other types of Aloe now I think it might be a an Aloe Tiki(which I had never heard of). Any thoughts??

When I got my goldfish plant she was in okay shape but def had some overwatering issues. After a couple weeks of quarantine I repotted her in better soil and she almost died on me. Shes starting to recover and I’m so freaking excited! This plant has been on my wishlist for so long and they are incredibly hard to get ahold of anywhere near my area so I had to special order her from my fav plant shop a few hours from my home. Her name is Sashimi. 😁

Hi all! I am starting to get a bit of a white build up from watering my plants with tap water. Does anyone know if using brita filtered water would resolve this or if I have to get distilled water from the store? I just have a bunch of plants and would like to avoid buying a bunch of gallons of distilled water in possible. Thank you!
