Plant friends will understand - a plant store in my area is closing and had plants half price! I have 6 new plants coming my way soon! It would’ve been more had I acted fast enough with their online system. Once they announced it, I think we broke their internet with our purchases! New things I’m getting I’ve never had before, so I welcome any advice: 🍃Dieffenbachia Camouflage - I had a different dieffenbacchia once that did well for a while then slowly declined and died so worried about this one! 🍃Ivy 🍃Ric rac cactus 🍃Whale Fin Sansevieria - I’ve had other sansevieria but not this one. 🍃Peperomia Jelly 🍃Peperomia Obtusifolia

Eeeek. Daughter got me an Alocasia Stingray as my FIRST Alocasia. She just liked the way it looked. Now I am worried I will kill it! Should I go semi-hydro??? What do I need to know?
To mist or not to mist?? I mean no disrespect of any kind with my question but I am a houseplant novice and have pretty much trusted Planta to get me started as I learn more from experience. I kept the misting notifications on so I missed all of my plants as directed. A few months in, I now have a horrible infestation of fungus gnats. I've done a deep dive into the causes and solutions and so much of what I've read connects misting/wet medium to gnat infestation. I'm working on several remedies including mosquito bits tea and bottom watering but I've also stopped misting completely. I'm open to any advice and thoughts!
I’m thinking my grow lights aren’t bright enough for my plants. They are mounted to the side of the entertainment center and are full spectrum and on for 12 hours per day. I love my setup but my plants are growing super slow it seems. If I add another light, I would like it to be something maybe tall and definitely unobtrusive in my little plant corner. Any suggestions?
Hello! I am struggling to identify this plant having long since lost the original order mail. Admittedly said plant had grown at a weird angle because of the light in the room. I believe it is an Anthurium but cannot remember the variety :)
I have 4 beautiful dwarf red lace-leaf maples 😊. They’re all thriving, but this yr. my largest one started to have little yellow spots on all of the leaves. They aren’t bugs of any kind, but the spots appear tone part of the leaf. I,ve never had this problem before. Please help!
Monday Match up! Are you team tiny plants or team big statement plants?!
My mojito colocasia I got not to long ago and I repotted her and gave her a stick for support . Just trying to figure out this lighting situation. Trying to keep her out of direct sun so she doesn’t scorch her leaves . But I feel the shade is not enough?
So proud of my money tree . She almost died when I first got her her trunk was full of rot . I cut it down to where there is no more rot and put cinnamon on the open wound. She flourishing ever since all new growth!!
This Beauty Is Only 3years old.. and can’t figure out why she is spotting yellow. any Suggestions?
Anyone know what type of philo this is? It was a gift and the bottom says “philo/pothos assorted”. Definitely philo vibes. Planta is throwing all kinds of results that look nothing like this plant. Any help is appreciated 😎
I have a dog that loves to stick his nose in the dirt of my plants, he doesn’t eat anything just makes a mess… any suggestions for how to keep him out??
I think I like this more than my cats do… it sits in the window by my lazy chair and I find myself just… running my fingers through it like it’s lush, thick hair. 😅I never expected to be a wheatgrass person 🤣🤣🤣
How is my plant looking seem to me like my leaves are leaning I’m a new plant daddy
First time plant mom here and brought these beautiful hydrangeas home a week ago. I noticed a few of the leaves have large irregular holes and am not sure what may be causing them 😭
Unpopular opinion: I hate tradescantia. Are they pretty at first? Of course. But inevitably, they get scraggly, and spotted, and need to be reset. Doing that today. The only reason I bother with this plant is because it was a gift. I always keep my gift plants. 💝
I got this plant yesterday at Walmart on sale and it doesn’t look the healthiest! If anyone has any suggestions on what might be wrong please feel free to let me know:) Thank you so much in advance!!!!!!🪴🩷
Hi! I recently got gifted this ficus plant and I’ve noticed a few things about her leaves. Does anyone know what these are and how to treat her?
