Happy Sunday, everybody. Does this grow light look like it’s too close to my plants it’s under a cabinet in the bathroom. I use the can for reference of size?💚🪴
Hi All! My Alocasia Jacklyn came with moss covering the potting soil. It has remained damp for almost 2 weeks now. Two of my smaller leaves are starting to turn yellow on the outsides. Recommendations? Also thoughts on removing the moss off the top of the potting soil? Aye or nay? TYSMIA
Can anyone help me identify this plant? Planta says golden sedum however the coloration is different in the photo it showed me so I’m not sure. Thank you!
Help. I just bought this as a five dollar impulse buy at my local greenhouse. I have killed almost every orchid I have ever owned. So please tell me what to do with this to keep it alive. I can’t repot it yet because I have no orchid soil.
Hiya all! I’ve adopted two monstera and looking for some advice! I’ve never had this plant before 😫 This large one is really pulling outwards and wondering if I should let it continue or if I’m supposed to offer more support? Secondly, this small one was going very yellow? What’s the likely problem? Completely new to this plant and just saved them from a friend! Any help appreciated 💙
Just picked up my first monstera from Facebook marketplace and I get it in two weeks… my parents are caring for it until I get there and I think they’re killing it 😭😭😭 what’s the best care to help save it for two weeks? I think they’ve overwatered it and might be too close to a window? Sun sets in this window and they said the leaves are starting to curl… they’ve had it two days… I need help before they kill it!!
Would I be able to revive this kolanchoe flower 😔😔 any tips?
Went to this beautiful greenhouse. Thought I would share!
Any tips on how to get my Monstera to split leaves?? She lives the perfect life 😪
What is this plant? I thought this was the tag it came with but maybe it was mixed up at the store? I scan this plant and it doesn’t come up with any suggestions that look anything like it. It has very strong base, I can see an aerial root forming, different than anything else I own. Any ideas?
Ohhhhhh, I’m really trying not to freak out. I repotted this beautiful baby last week. Added the trellis and LOVED how she looked after the repot. A week later and she is struggling MAJORLY. I’ve never had a plant go thru this MUCH shock after a repot. Hoping another week she’ll be a little more recovered and not “lost” 🥹😩😭
Had no intentions of growing watermelon this year, but here we go 😅
Trader Joe’s plants! I got a pink princess philodendron for $11.99, does anyone have care tips for it?
Can anyone identify this plant for me? I found him in the floor of a grocery store and decided to put him in water. Does you think he has a chance?
Anyone know how to save a Hydrangea from root rot? I think I over watered her and she got upset because I took her outside for sunset shade. She was in the sunset when I bought her so I thought she’d be ok. She was doing well for 2 weeks but now she’s mad at me. Her pot had drainage holes but I think the holes were too close to the plate and weren’t really draining.
I’ve had this aloe for years, but I neglected her while my mental health wasn’t up. I’d like to see her thrive as she always has, again. She’s leaning, bent, and browning. She’s still growing upwards beautifully. I’ve only ever cut her back a couple stems since I’ve had her. Outside of repotting (hoping this will provide support to stand tall), any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
Ever since Planta started asking what we’d like to name our plants when we add them, I have started naming all of mine. Even the ones before the option. Am I the only one? Lol. And are your plants male, female, “it” or a combination? 🤷♀️
New to fertilizing!! Hi guys, i normally bottom water my plants, can i add fertilizer to the water when bottom watering or should i water from the top when using fertilizer? also do i just use a small amount or water like i normally do? Thanks for any help! Picture of my Ivy 💗
anyone else just love tiny plants? this is my miniature stonecrop (unidentified but likely a sedum species); each rosette is less than 5mm across. this cat skull planter is so small i have to water with a dropper. it has no drainage holes but it is cement so excess moisture is wicked away— each eye socket gets about 3 or 4ml of water each watering, roughly every ten days. then, i tip it so that it is vertical and the excess water is “cried” away. these were just planted this spring so i am excited to see them fill out.
