said it looked ill, any ideas for how to take better care of it?

Good Morning everyone! I have a Mimosa that is into its 3rd Summer. It looks healthy and it has thick branches. Last summer it grew to almost 6 ft tall. Well last winter the deer during Rutting Season the Bucks were scraping there antlers on the plant. Unfortunately it killed the upper part of the tree. I scraped some bark off a little to see if there was any green and healthy above the damage but there was nothing. So I decided which may have been the wrong idea but I trimmed it to about 2 inches below the damage. Well I was expecting it to shoot up again this summer but instead it grew out. Still looking good just 3 ft tall and 3 ft around Question should I cut or trim it back this winter or just leave it alone? I love the flowers that it puts out but I’m afraid it won’t produce if I keep cutting it back. Thank you in advance!

Today my tasks are to “clean” several plants. What does that usually mean?

Broke another promise to myself this year. Well, actually two. First one was that I wasn't going to bring too many of my plants out to the deck because when I have to bring them all in it's a huge job with my fibromyalgia. So far there's around 50 out here. 🤦🏼 The second promise was that I wouldn't buy any plants this summer that I didn't know where I was going to put them when I brought them in in September. Not doing too bad on that one. Only one so far but of course it's a huge bird of paradise. Lol.🤦🏼 ( don't mind the mess. This is no longer my patio table but my plant working table lol) Am I the only one?

Went in for one plant….somehow came home with three. At this point I’ve accepted I absolutely have no self-control in the plant section😭

Never seen a split leaf pothos, what kind of plant is this. It's growing like pothos but it looks like a Swiss cheese plant? Any ideas?

I just repotted this monstera which had 3 plants into 3 separate pots because I was concerned about overcrowding and now I came across videos saying it’s good if they are in the same pot. They said having too much soil would make the plant focus on growing roots rather than leaves. I am confused. Should I not have separated them?

Long story short…….someone at work donated this plant and my friend snagged it for me…..what are some basic care tips for it and does it look in good health? I’m out of town for a week and need to give my friend tips on what to do with it until he gets it to my friend with the green thumb 😭 any advice appreciated 🫶

Hi guys! I am concerned for my silver dragon. It was looking really bad when I adopted it and I concluded that the soil was just bad and the pot was constricting the roots. I repotted it in a slightly bigger pot with the right soil mixture but It still looks sad ( but better than before) It’s been a few weeks since the repotting. Does anyone else have this issue?

Painted the pot for my zebra hawarthia pups, they reminded me of antlers.

Hello, everyone! 🌿 Fall is approaching quickly, and I’m already thinking about bringing my plants indoors. What’s the best way to make sure I don’t bring any unwanted critters into the house with them? 🪴🐛

To repot or not….that is the question. I’m a newbie to the plant world and I have 8 plants currently surviving (lol). I went down the rabbit hole and it seems like the general potting mixture is orchid bark, perilite, and potting soil. 1. Is that correct? 2. Should I repot the 8 I have now? 3. If I get new plants should I start using that mix? Background on the 8: some of them are in pots with no drainage holes and they all are just potted with regular indoor potting soil. Thanks in advance!!
