I hadn’t checked on my jade in a minute and found that one of them.. collapsed? He’s had a few problems in the past with rotted leaves and such but nothing this bad. I’m not sure what happened and more importantly what to do. Any advice is appreciated- I’m relatively new to the plant scene but this is my longest-owned plant and I want to keep him alive :(
What are the most popular pon products used as a substrate for semi hydro plants? I’ve been researching Amazon, and there are so many different kinds, I had trouble finding just the right one… 😵💫! TIA!
Any tips on keeping baby blue eucalyptus alive? Accidentally killed my first one and i figured I'd try again as i have a 3 time rule. Do they keep well under grow lights? Proper lighting or lumen requirement? Should I follow plantas watering advice or shift it to one that any of u have down? Thank you in advance.
After considerable research, I think I’m going to switch a couple of my very small calatheas, from regular soil to leca, rather than pon. (They’re in a tropical plant soil, now.) Calatheas are such a pain in the tutu… 🙄! I have constant problems with leaf tips turning brown, and edges of leaves getting spots, so I decided to give this a try. Any tips would be really useful, at this point… TIA! PS. I think I might also try this with my golden mosaic, and possibly, some of my anthuriums; what do you think?
Does anyone have any advice on propagating baby spider plants that grow from a mother plant? I usually let them grow in water while still attached the mother plant until they get a few good roots. Then I cut them loose and leave them in the water until they get some strong roots. But it seems that they always die when I transport them into a pot with soil and I’m not sure why. Any advice is appreciated!
I’m a little concerned about my Dude. I cut and propagated a few weeks ago-successful. But recently I noticed the mother plant is browning. Over watered?
Hey! me again for about the 15th time this week, could anyone tell me if this is the top or bottom of this plant? I flipped it over to find this, I swear it looks like the top and I just had it upside down, but I’ve never had one of these so I have no clue. Any advice I’d appreciate! Thanks! Also it’s a Caudex of a Stephania Cepharantha if that helps!

I’m having problems with yellowing leaves on my synogonium. I read a post in the past that said it’s better to let these plants dry out a bit, and I have noticed less yellowing with less water; however, it still tends to have some yellow leaves. My question is this… what percentage of moisture should I look for on my water meter… 50%, 35%, 20%? IDK! So, please help… TIA!

My jade plant is dropping a lot of leaves, but at the same time putting some new little sprouts from joints at the base. Any suggestions? I don’t know whether this is a problem or a normal phase.

My sun green bonsai tree has been dying slowly for about three months now I water it when the soil becomes dry and it gets enough sunlight throughout the day. I’ve read that fertilizing it while it’s in this state is not recommended. I am out of options and I do not know what to do. Any help is very appreciated!!!
