Alright, friends. What are some tips or general knowledge I should know for the upcoming fall/winter months for indoor houseplants? I have: - two Pothos - a philodendron - spider plant - aloe - zz plant Any guidance would be much appreciated! 😊
Anyone in the south east going to this? I went the first year (2024) in Columbia, SC and it was great. They made it bigger this year, but unfortunately I wasn't able to go. Now it is Charleston, SC and Sydney Plant Guy will be there!!!!!!! I am not missing it in 2026!!!
My amaryllis has one leaf going brown what do I do??? Should I chop it. Or let it die. Help????😭

My Alocasia is performing what I believe to be guttation… this is when plants release excess water and minerals from their leaves, especially when relative humidity and soil is overly-wet. These specialized glands are called hyathodes. I have not seen this before but it’s super cool! It’s the early evening when it did this and I watered it three days ago, still quite damp in the soil. Hoping the new soil mix I am trying is not too wet for it. It has perlite, charcoal and orchid bark mini-chips in the coconut noir so I thought it’d be enough. Maybe I didn’t mix enough chunks in? I did a 50% soil and 50% everything else mix but I def didn’t measure when I did it. 😌
What is this on the under side of my baby rubber plant and what do I do tht fix it. Thanks for any help. The tops look good
Just a question, if I have bamboo in water and rocks does it grow? Or does it need dirt to grow?
Think my Alocasia frydek must of had some baby corns 😁 1 shoot yesterday and another today , is it best to leave with main plant or do you split them up

My Croton Rina one week apart - my Croton began to drop leaves in the lead up to me repotting it. The stem of the leaves connecting to the main body of the plant began to go soft/almost mushy, and they were easily snapped off. I repotted the plant and checked for root rot however the roots are strong and appear very happy. The plant is now just the stem with strong roots. What can I do to try and save this plant? I currently have it by my front door under some shade facing South-East. I’m in Victoria, Australia, so have just started Spring. New to taking plants seriously and really want to save this guy if I can!
Any one eles on here grow common rue? Just want to know if I should prune and propagate. And also if its leggy.

I had some Caladium bulbs that I’m planting inside. I can’t get a clear answer on whether or not the stem come from the eye should be covered or not. Any help very appreciated!
I was gifted this alocacia black velvet and I repotted it because its soil was very bad and I found 4 corms! There was a few more in there that were very small but the 4 I took fell out of the pot right when I took out all the old soil. I places the corms in soil and now they are under a grow light with good humidity. Is there anything else I can do to help them grow and is there a timeline of when I can see them sprout? Also this is my first alocacia and im a little worried because they are known to be difficult are there any tips to get them to thrive? PS: the little green thing I found inside my philodendron split leaf hopes pot and I have no idea what it is. I planted it with my other corms. Sorry for the long message thanks for help in advance!!!
Hey yall I was wondering if someone could tell me what is happening to my rattlesnake :( I’ve had it for a few months now and haven’t changed anything with it. It closed up and looked sad one day and I’m not sure if it’s done for or if it can be saved :( pls any help is greatly appreciated! First picture is what it looked like at the beginning of August and the last 2 were taken today.
