Hi guys!! I saw one larvae in my Alocasia and I freaked out. I repotted it. I didn’t see any other one. Anyway, I think I made a mistake and I am scared of my plant dying. What can I do? I washed off the soil from the roots (it was a good soil), and now I’m letting in dry close to a fan. What should I do next? The picture of the new soil and the place I usually leave my alocasia is in this post. I leave it in the shelf because it can be toxic to my cat. Please, help me..

This is George. He’s a Hosta Fortunei and my current problem child, as the app is telling me he needs more humidity, but that full sun is not good for him, as well as that I should not mist him. If I can’t put him outside, I don’t know how to increase the humidity for him when it’s currently summer and all the nice free humidity is outside and my AC is pretty non-negotiable indoors. Any advice for increasing humidity for indoor plants without misting?
I saw this image post on a website and it helped me more visually understand light levels. I dont know how accurate this is so if it is incorrect let me know, but I thought I would share anyway if it can be helpful
hello! I was gifted this ponytail palm and I am not sure what is wrong with it! It keeps yellowing at the ends, it’s still growing! But everything keeps slowly turning yellow.
What plant do you think this is? 😂
Can anyone tell me what could be wrong?? I just checked in on my bamboo and saw this
Just today got my Venus flytrap any tips?
I’m making a terrarium for my air plant but I’m not sure what to add I might get a case to hang it up but I want more ideas
These leaves have been curled/discoloured for a while and are no turning brown. I have tried more watering, less watering, more and less sunlight over the past few months and can’t solve the issue. Any help?
Hello any recommendations to the rid of the plant flies ???? I have a couple in my Eucalyptus
The Peanuts are in danger! At least I think? What is this infectious yellow on my poor peanut cactus? Oh and thank you, words couldn’t describe how happy it would be. Well I mean I guess “very” would be one.
After repotting a couple of each seeding into their own pot, I decided to add the remaining healthy looking seedlings to little trays, hoping they do just as well as they did before, if not better🌱🥺 (sweet William left, petunia right)
Also thinned out and repotted my sweet William which was very much needed and overdue!! The stems are weak due to how overcrowded they were so I added toothpicks, hopefully this helps them strengthen up🌱 Any tips on any other ways to help strengthen the stems? (Before and after attached)
So after almost 5 weeks of growth, I finally thinned out and repotted my petunias🥺 hopefully they continue to thrive🌱 (Before and after)
My fiddle has new growth but it’s not coming from the stem, would you recommend leaving or clipping? Is this good or bad? I know nothing 😂
Please help! Got this bonsai as a christmas present this year (i have never looked after one before), looked beautiful with many dark green leaves. Unfortunately over the last 2 months it has taken a turn for the worst, has dropped 3/4 of its leaves and obviously isn’t well. Watering with the bottom whole for 20 mins when plants advises me too, has plenty of indirect sunlight. Did use some liquid bonsai food on it (for about 2 months when planta told me to) by adding it to the water in the correct amount as advised by the packaging, stopped using when it started dropping leaves. My cousin also got the same bonsai tree for christmas this year and that one is flourishing in her cloakroom (toilet room). Any advise would be greatly appreciated! I have also posted this on the sick plants subreddit, but wanted to spread it to get more opinions :]
Chinese coin plant I was gifted this plant about 5 years ago. It put off a baby about a year ago. But that’s it. It also grows like a vine or maybe it was reaching for light? I’m wondering what I’m not doing right. I’ve moved it to a sunnier spot, repotted it and fertilized it. Hope that helps
My PPP has yellowing/dropping lower leaves, I’m not sure if it’s under or over watering? The soil was very well draining when I got it but it seems less so now. I loosely follow the Planta schedule for watering with typically leaving it a few extra days after the app suggests. What can I do to keep the leaves? I was planning to add perlite to the soil but I’m not sure if that would solve the issue
Just purchased this Gloriosum or perhaps I should say rescued because she has strong roots and great growth but I think she was light deprived. Any thoughts on this ? Her larger leaves are yellow in areas and small leaves are fine and dark green. I have her in a south facing window with a bit of shade so dappled bright light. Watered well and a humidifier to make things a bit more tropical. 48% humidity and 74f for 24 hours so far
Worried that she might be under watered. I read online that curling leaves means it’s underwatered. I watered her yesterday with the apps schedule: I never water until the water comes out of the drainage holes. Should I?
