Hit an estate sale today and got these orchids for $1.25. I've always been scared to try these guy's but at that price I couldn't pass. Please help with any advice cause I really have no clue what to do with them. She gave me some orchid food and they are in good chunky orchid bark/soil. Thanks again for any help
I just got 3 new plants and am wonder what these two are. The tags just say ‘Succulent’.
I got this majesty palm and peace lily from the clearance section. The majesty palm honestly looked wonderful when I got it besides a few dead leaves, the peace lily was rough. I’ve noticed my majesty palm has started to droop and brown at the stump. Unfortunately I don’t have drainage pots available but I added rocks to the bottom to make do with what I have. Any tips or feedback? I need these babies they help me feel so much better in this brown box of a living room!🤣
The other day while mowing my back yard I came across this plant that was growing on the ground, does anyone know what kind of plant it is or if it’s toxic in case I want to remove it from the ground and pot it? Please let me know before I remove it. Thanks!
Hi community- Had this majesty palm for about a month. Just noticed these today. Anyone know what these dark spots are from?
Planta fertilizer explanation? Hi, I get recommendations from the app for adding fertilizer (which calls for mixing it with water) and separate watering recommendations. My concern is whether doing both will overwater my plants. Should I wait to fertilize until the scheduled watering? Does the watering schedule take into account the fertilizing? I have plants dying from likely overwatering, so I want to be sure here.
Just got this moon valley pilea 4 days ago. I’ve been spraying it down with a neem oil mixture since because one of the other plants I purchased with this one had some pests. This morning I noticed the browning on the leaves. It’s in a bright area with indirect light so I don’t believe it’s damage from the sun. Should I cut it off if the browning is irreversible? The last picture is from the day I got it, I have since pruned it, hence why it doesn’t seem as bushy now. First two pictures from today.
This guy desperately needed a trim. Don’t be afraid to cut off those browning tips, you’ll get wonderful new growth especially this time of year! This Charlie is a great example 👍
So happy I got my hands on one of these - did NOT disappoint and it’s a surprisingly hardy anthurium!!🤩 and just look @ that leaf texture thooo?!
Hi so I’ve noticed that I’ve got my normal watering schedules on Planta, but there are also some days where I have like 12 plants just to “mist.” If I have a pebble water tray for humidity, is the misting still needed? Or is misting for a different reason? Also, is there an option to let Planta know you have a pebble tray so it quits telling you to mist? Pebble tray picture for attention!
realized I never shared this pic on here! I need more red plants my grow lights really make the colors pop. I’ll post a pic of it in natural light in the comments
Has anyone bought from an online store called plantsandtrees.com?
How do you know if yellow leafs are caused by over or under watering?
First time owner of this beauty. Any tips or things I should know?
Can someone tell me what is wrong with this plant?. It is a Chinese evergreen
I am just itching to mist banana peel water on my plants, but I'm scared of overdoing it or that as usual on possibly doing something I shouldn't be doing, I just want to spray their leaves with something happy 🙄🤣🤔 someone tell me it's okay please haha🥰🌱🍌
What if your peace Lillie has worms in its soil? Should I get rid of her? Should I repot her and and the pot is starting to rip at the bottom. I don’t want to get rid of her because she was shipped to me from my father-in-law‘s funeral so what should I do? I’ve never seen worms come out of soil.
I love this silver nerve white Anne
