I’m so nerdy excited about this and I showed my friends and family and no one gives a poo 😂😂😂 There was a 10 pack of buckets and I can’t decide if I should research more types of soil, make my own custom soil mixes, or use the remaining ones for some of my various outdoor bird feeder foods. I do have one small bag of carnivorous soil mix, but it’s not enough to waste a whole bucket on.

HELP please :) Anyone having an issue with plants over scheduling fertilizing and watering? I’ve had to delay watering a few times because a particular pot wasn’t draining well - but it looks like planta doesn’t dynamically push back the fertilizing cycles to match. Since I use water fertilizer I’ve now got a water fertilizing phase and a water phase back to back. Does anyone know A fix for this? Shouldn’t liquid fertilizer just be spaced apart from watering - just replacing a watering cycle occasionally?

Guys I am not one for promoting plant shops but I just bought hella plants of off Etsy, shop is called Sunshine Greens! Everything is on sale and they have some really cool stuff for a reasonable price. Will do a new plant Monday haul when everything comes in!

I’ve been neglecting my plants. I have been thinking out loud about my plants at work, considering making a moss pole for my unruly pothos, and my coworkers went ahead and bought me a set of premade moss poles for my birthday. Which is so darn thoughtful! But they are super long 😂 what do you guys think, trim back my pothos and hope it climbs?

Where does everyone get their strap leaf anthuriums? I don’t have many green houses in my area so I would likely have to buy online. The only thing I’m seeing through research is Etsy and I’m unsure how reputable that is. Thanks in advance!

I’m in Florida to visit family, and there was a mango tree in the front. Then I thought, “ I could grow one in a big pot back in Texas so I grab 2 seeds from the ground. I’m going back in 3 days so ima plant one.

Hello! I have a baby orchid that I bought from the store. It was being suffocated by the way they planted it (no air, too much mulch etc.) I found it loves being like this, but am not sure it’s a good long term solution. How would I go about transferring it to bark like the orchid behind it?

More repotting questions! Should I repot? Looks like it could use some more room.

Should I repot my plant or wait? I have this plant for 3 years now and it’s outgrown out its pot. I just noticed that one of the 3 plants has some new growth. Can I still repot the other 2 or should I wait? This plant has never been repotted. For reference I added a photo of the new pot.

Happy Saturday! What’s catching your eye in your collection today!? 💚

Question: when you have a plant in a self watering container and you want to feed/fertilize your plant does the fertilizer go in with the water or do you put it in the soil (on the top of the plant)? I’m using Miracle Grow Indoor Plant Food in liquid form.

My moon cactus, Rainbow, is budding!! 🥹🌸 I’m notorious for unaliving cacti and succulents, so to actually have one that’s going to flower under my care has me over the moon! (Corny joke, I know. 😆)
