I purchased some geraniums this spring at Lowe's. And I'm wondering if I can winter those over in my plant light basement, or if there's another way to keep them for next year. I live in Iowa

Hey, my baby has been doing really well. She’s doesn’t like being in the living room. 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ so our bedroom is where she will be living for now on. But my reasoning for this post!!!!!! It’s about to get cold and where I live it gets really cold. Can I get some tips and tricks on how to keep my baby blooming and happy during the cold months. THANK YOU ALL. 💛💚

this alocasia polly wasn’t doing well so we restarted her completely in lecca and moss and now her roots have roots but she still has a leaf and i’m unsure what to do. I know the leaf just started turning yellow… do i cut the leaf off? where are the new leaf’s supposed to start growing from?

Chinese Evergreens are one of my favorites. Mine has been so happy over the summer and has given me lots of new babies recently.

Any idea if pilea can be grown in water? I keep having issues with root rot and wondered if it would still grow as big and produce pups in water after propagating

Wondering if this plant looks like it needs to be repotted to a slightly larger pot yet? It's growing quite fast and getting a couple of new leaves each week. I've heard these babies are quite fussy about being repotted though...

Home with a cold virus and I have spent the days reorganizing my overcrowded plants every day, repeatedly. Today real progress. Moved the rhipsalis/ripsalia and dancing bones to join the schlumbergera in the large north window.... A blooming epiphyte gathering. Considering getting some raised stands to make vertical space and maximize capturing the bright light. Gloomy season is coming though. Most succulent and cactus bunched in the cold bonus room south window but mostly huddled closely in front of a 75 watt grow light. Can open window and give them the outdoor air. Afternoon sun when not overcast. Additional sunny South window not shown. Total population is down to 80 right now with a clear path to the low 70s by next year 😆 turns out Facebook marketplace is a hot market . Ideal number for this space is more like 50s-60s factoring for size some of these guys are getting big! But indoor gardening is rewarding just the same. Along with the wins is my crowded plant graveyard on planta and let's be real not everyone made the cut for planta plant graveyard some got the delete 😇💀💀💀 it's life.... And death 🤣🙏🏼 the great compost bin.

Giving my boyfriend small baby Golden Pothos cuttings that were in this pot :3 it is so cute and tiny, there are little drain holes. Excited to see if they grow big enough for a repot ☺️ baby and mama :,)

Guys what is going on with my peperomia?! The leaves aren’t as thick and tough as they were before. And it just doesn’t look that great. Please help

Not sure what is growing inside my peperomia I’m assuming they should be removed? I’m almost tempted to put them in another pot to see what they become!

Baby plant updates! I recently went a little crazy with propagating and cut some snippets from almost every single one of my plants 😂 I also got some corms from my alocasia Polly, which is currently losing the battle between her and spider mites 😞 the corms are looking very good though, I have four of them in there and I’m very hopeful! I’ll be planting the syngoniums together very soon. Any tips welcome!

I recently rescued some poor roses who struggled for years in tiny pots, replanted them in the ground in my garden with the proper procedure and care… It’s Autumn but after two weeks, one of the worst ones is already repaying my efforts with a few new leaves and tiny shoots!! It’s a bit hard to see so I added markups XD I was so happy to see them I literally gasped 🌹 I love them so much 💕

Any one have an idea of what’s going on with my Thanksgiving cactus? Healthy leaves are underneath but the top layer looks terrible.

Someone posted about using salt and pepper shakers from dollar tree as propagation tubes which I thought was a cool idea. I was cleaning out my pantry and about to throw away old spices when I thought of that post. I decided to use the spice containers as propagation tubes! Trying to prorate Coleus from my garden.
