New Succulent Hall 😍
We found a kitten in October! We fell in love of course after having time with him and my other babies liking him! He has ripped leafs of my plants, taken plants completely out of the pot and has eaten the roots as well. Yea the roots yall. So I’ve had to gift and throw away some of my favorite plants in fear that he will destroy them…. Any recommendations for wall shelf’s that won’t rot or mold from having a humidifier on it and plants as well? Also okay with a glass cabinet that won’t mold and won’t break the bank? Thanks in advance!!!! Ps. His name is Theadore
Is it best to use liquid fertilizer or the sticks? Any thoughts on benefits or disadvantages from either?
Hiii. I just joined & I'm so excited to be here. Today was a great day to take the girls outside to add some moss poles. 🪴✨️🌤
So day one vers week later. I think they look way more perky after being shipped what do you all think?
Hi everyone, I have a violet and it was doing pretty good this year. I got a couple of flowers. I’ve only had it for about one year. But ever since I’ve had it the leaves on it curl. Why is that? I don’t have an indirect light. I have it in an east facing window. I water it when it’s almost dry but still a little moist. Please help me.
Are Burke Marx flame’s leaves supposed to curl like this? She has plenty of water.
Can someone identify this plant ? (:
ID help. I got it at the nursery with no name. The foliage is very rubbery.
Don’t know if I should be mad at my husband for using my mugs as planters or applaud him because they’re adorable. He wanted weird succulents for Christmas so I think I delivered.
Super excited to add these babies to my collection ❤️ Monstera standleyana aurea
Any idea what type of plant this is? I got it from Home Depot and it didn’t say what type of plant it was.
So I had under watered orchid and also it desperately needed to be repotted. So I repotted it and also I think overwatered and it lost all of its leaves. Can I save it?
My Dad got me a rubber plant for Christmas, a burgundy one I believe. My aunt took care of it for the past month and its soil was quite soggy. I took it out of pot, the roots looked ok so I knocked off as much soggy soil as I could and repotted in dry soil. Some leaves fell off but only 3 or so and I think a couple more leaves are going to discolor and fall off. It has new growth and looks healthy I think. My question is do I need to prune it? It’s several shoots all bunched together. Also I know you can propagate them but how?
Does anyone know what these tiny black dots are on the back of my scindapsus? They're only on a few leaves. I noticed them a couple of weeks ago and the health of the plant doesn't seem to be impacted since it's still putting out new leaves and I don't see any damage or pests. The dots don't come off when I try wiping them with a cloth 🤔
Working on my String of Hearts 💕 today. It got tangled 😣 so that’s my big project. I’m not sure what to do with the big bulbs throughout the strings. Cut and prop? Cut and put in the soil?
Hey! So I got both these plants off somebody and they don’t seem to be doing to well. I’ve followed everything with them and did research but unfortunately nothing I did seemed to work. Any tips? And Hoya speckled wax plant.
This girl is getting big and I have no idea what to do as she gets bigger. She is getting too close to the grow light so I need to rearrange her. She’s also getting some slightly yellow leaves. She’s got some crispy brown areas likely due to inconsistent watering on my part. She started as a tiny plant about 2-3 years ago. She enjoys morning sun and jazz music but I’m not sure how to trim or repot or water her.
Meet Alice. She was gifted to me in August by a dear friend that died. This ZZ is giant, and I can see her rhizomes showing on top of soil, im sure she is really root bound! But its winter here and now she has babies! When I watered her most of the water ran out the bottom. So I doubt she has much soil to absorb. Should I repot her? Or leave her alone and wait for spring? Im also not fertilizering her. Should I?
