✨⭐️ User Spotlight!! ⭐️✨ From user- brittrb 💚 “I’m a young stay at home mom of 2 young kids and my plant journey started about 1 year ago when I was expecting our second child. I accumulated about 30 - 40 house plants in a six month span. When my son was born and fall and winter approached I really enjoyed learning more and caring for my plants. With a newborn and colder weather it was more difficult to get outside and I enjoyed my houseplants all the more! My toddler even started helping care for the plants. My sister told me about Planta at thanksgiving when she visited and I downloaded the app. Since then I have been enjoying sharing my love for plants as well as learning about others love for plants. I have also gained so much knowledge about the plants that I currently own and about other plants that I hope to own in the future. I am so thankful for the plant community that Planta helps provide!” Thank you so much brittrb for sharing your plant journey! 😊 ✨ If you would like to be a featured user, please email me! Check out one of my favorite Hoyas 🩷 question though, can I or should I try to unravel and put on a bigger trellis? TIA
That moment when you see a plant and just, IMMEDIATELY must have it. 😍 Philodendron Burle Marx Fantasy
Any ideas on what to do with this arrowhead plant? It has totally bugged out since transplanting it about a week ago. The plant behind it shows its health before transplanting.
I'm so excited 😊 🤗. Is this what I think it is? Is she flowering? 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹
I was given these 3 baby Aloe tonight from a learning plant dad. They were very dry and they look kinda sad or droopy. Any tips? My 1st Aloes 🪴 Always wanted one 🤗 hoping to save all three 🙏🏾 Thinking I'll repot all three in one large pot but idk. More research i guess unless anyone have any helpful tips or suggestions 🙏🏾
My Prayer Plant is flowering!! Is that a good sign? Why when I google this does it say to pinch off the flowers?? I love them 😭😍
Trying to be a plant dad! So asking for general advice. What would you recommend for plants indoors versus outdoors? A lot of my plants I’ve moved into a self watering pot where you fill up the bottom and there just happens to be a coil of rope that loops up into the soil and apparently absorbs the water upwards into the plant. However, I’ve seen a lot of folks use. What’s effectively are the drainage hold nursery pots or similar, and simply insert those into a more of a decorative pot. I’ve also been reading a lot about using terra-cotta pots. Is there any reason why you would do one over the other, a specific plant while you do one over the other, or is this all just personal preference?

Is anyone else not getting the prompt to do plant updates anymore? I use to get them everyday (I have 200+ plants) and now I never get a prompt to do an update and I have checked under settings and it is checked for me to get them.
I’ve had this aglaonema for about 3 months. It arrived with the rolled up leaf, which hasn’t unfurled at all during this time. Any thoughts on what it may need? The plant is currently under a grow light 12 hours a day.
Got some new plant babies 💕🪴☺️
Is sugar good for plants

So I got this beautiful pot today and the fist thing I thought of was filling the small holes with different string plants but idk. Any fun creative ideas to fill this beauty?

So I started like 6 months ago with my first plant and this Is me now!
Hello my inch plant people, I’ve got a question. So recently my hanging Boston fern had fell onto my inch plant I’d say about 2 weeks ago. I allowed it isolate, and then added it back to its corner. But I honestly can’t tell if this leaf damage from being crushed.. or pests. Can anyone let me know? I’m a new plant parent. I don’t see any webbing or anything moving; but like I said I’m a new planter. I don’t have a clue in the world..
I just bought a monstera. I have placed it at a south facing window, I know that is not the best, but I do not have any other good window spots. I have another big window (south facing) that I can place the monstera a foot away from. If I do that, and invest in some sheer curtains, would that make do? Currently it is winter, so I am not horribly worried about burn spots. Any tips for humidity as well. I was planning on a mist/spray every morning. Tell me if you have any other tips. Edit: I have ordered a humidifier. :)
What’s the most satisfying part of having plants? Is it new growth, calming vibes, or caring rituals? 🌿
