Got this plant today! Was told it was an Alocasia, but not sure what type or if it is one at all. Any suggestions?

Can anyone help me out? Found these figs on a tree at the park. Reminds me of a fruit I use to eat when I was younger in the country, but want to verify before indulging lol

I’m having obvious problems with my little anthurium. From the very beginning, as a little 2 incher, her leaves have yellowed, just like her leaves in this picture. I water her only when she is beginning to dry; the plant moisture meter will say somewhere between moist to normal when I water her. The humidity in her room stays anywhere from the upper 40% to the low 50%. I’ve put a bit of water around her in a small tray that she sits in, not enough to get her roots wet. Any suggestions that might help? TIA… 🤗💚🪴 PS. I thought she was a Velvet Cardboard, however, Planta says she is a Crystal Laceleaf. What is the consensus on this?

Where should I start with this monstera? Ive rescued it for about a month to let it acclimate and it’s doing well but the soil smells disgusting like manure and now I’ve found worms which makes me want to cry because I hate bugs and it’s in my room. Should a repot help all these things?

I have a house full of plants, just recently they were all getting fungus gnats so I repotted every one of them as I’d tried everything from sticky traps to neem oil, now they are back with a vengeance and driving me mad 😩help!

I have a new ficus tree and have it in my bedroom. I have a grow light shining on it and a bright window across the room. The windowsill is too small for the pot. Will it be okay under the light?

hey friends! looking for some help about distinguishing different light levels. i have an east facing window that gets lots of direct sun in the morning and i have a west facing window that gets lots of direct sun in the afternoon. while they both get about 6 hrs of direct sunlight, the afternoon sun is obviously much hotter/intense. would i classify both of these sites as “direct light” or one of them as “indirect light”? i’m probably getting a little caught up in the specifics, but i just wanna make the best choices for my little plant babies 🌿🌵🌱
