Does anyone know what these tiny black dots are on the back of my scindapsus? They're only on a few leaves. I noticed them a couple of weeks ago and the health of the plant doesn't seem to be impacted since it's still putting out new leaves and I don't see any damage or pests. The dots don't come off when I try wiping them with a cloth 🤔
Working on my String of Hearts 💕 today. It got tangled 😣 so that’s my big project. I’m not sure what to do with the big bulbs throughout the strings. Cut and prop? Cut and put in the soil?
Hey! So I got both these plants off somebody and they don’t seem to be doing to well. I’ve followed everything with them and did research but unfortunately nothing I did seemed to work. Any tips? And Hoya speckled wax plant.
This girl is getting big and I have no idea what to do as she gets bigger. She is getting too close to the grow light so I need to rearrange her. She’s also getting some slightly yellow leaves. She’s got some crispy brown areas likely due to inconsistent watering on my part. She started as a tiny plant about 2-3 years ago. She enjoys morning sun and jazz music but I’m not sure how to trim or repot or water her.
Meet Alice. She was gifted to me in August by a dear friend that died. This ZZ is giant, and I can see her rhizomes showing on top of soil, im sure she is really root bound! But its winter here and now she has babies! When I watered her most of the water ran out the bottom. So I doubt she has much soil to absorb. Should I repot her? Or leave her alone and wait for spring? Im also not fertilizering her. Should I?
I’m coming to the group for some help. I’ve had a snake plant for a few years now and it has been great. About a month ago I had pretty much put it in a drought by accident. I then watered it of course and now it looks like it has been going through it. It’s lost a limb that was pretty squishy and starting to discolor, the rest of the plants limbs are starting to fall outwards. So what do I do now?! I don’t want to kill the easiest plant to keep alive :/

Hope everyone is enjoying this time of year, no matter what/if you celebrate holidays! The countdown is on to 2026. Hubby got me this new baby to add to my "pink" collection, along with grow lights, pot accessories, a cleaning kit, and Treleaf Zellas (which will go to my philodendron painted lady). Hello everyone, I got my aloe plant Rupert March 1st 2025 and since then he has grown quite a bit but I'm a bit confused if he is doing well or not. Months back, he had two leaves which were brown and dry so I cut them but they have not grown back nor healed. Some of his leaves feel a tad soft as well. Two of his leaves are creasing on the bottom and seem a bit weak. If anyone who knows what their doing when it comes to aloes could give any opinions or advice for Rupert that would be great 🌼
Hi all! I just got this baby Monstera. I’ve been obsessed and wanting one for so long that when I saw her I completely forgot to check if she was toxic to my kitty’s. This app says yes and chatGPT say yes but that it’s not likely to kill them. Has anyone had experience with a cat eating these before (it’s the leaf that’s toxic) and how did that work out for you? Please let me know before I have to get rid of her😞
Y’all! My baby Aloe Pup is growing!! I noticed she was a little tan this morning, so I moved her to the shade, and gave her a little water. Any suggestions on helping her grow?
I’m going to cut my Goldie Girl up to the base of her pot on January 1st…. And I’m not okay 😭😂 I know it’s for her benefit but I’m still sad about it 😂❤️ I plan to take several cuttings and transplant into my mom’s Golden Pothos that’s struggling.
Someone suggested that I put my Monstera roots and water. I did. Now what do I do with them? 🤷♀️
Heyyy!!! So I have this pothos, I'd guess it's probably 3 years old, maybe even 5, but I need some advice. It used to be very, very full, but now there's fewer leaves, and it just looks sad. Does anyone know what I can do? I just repotted it today into a pot about 2 and a half inches larger, if that helps.
Hi everyone, I have a dieffenbachia Camille. I got it as a rescue. I’m not exactly sure if this is healthy. It has grown a lot from when I originally got it. It literally had been about 2 inches tall. There’s always new leaves on it, but I’m not sure as to if the leaves are supposed to look like this? They’re rough. I thought they would be a little bit glossy. It’s doing well and growing, but I just need help because I think it might be sick. It looks like there’s a powder on the leaves, that’s why to me it’s not glossy. Is this normal looking? Thank you for all your help.

Well apparently I’ve neglected my plants over the past week or so lol. Normally I handle all the plant business in the morning before work but I’ve been pushing it off till after work (cause I have almost 80 plants lol) and then I get home. And I’m tired. And I forget. And I’ll say I’ll water them in the morning. And blah blah oh lol. Now I have plants with yellow leaves. Dropping leaves. They’re drying out faster cause the heat is on lol. Now I gotta nurse them all back to good health lol. I’m apologizing to the plant gods right now haha
