Been struggling with small flies that look like fruit flies laying eggs in my plants. Got sticky things to catch them but any helpful hints how to kill? Tried watering with 1/4 vinegar once.

I was getting ready to wipe down her leaves when I saw these two babies! I bought her tilted and repotted her tilted but when I try to identify it I only find results for bromeliads (which are straight up and down). What, if anything, needs done to welcome these little guys in? Also should I try to straighten the mother out or leave her titled?

Proud of the size of this leaf on pothos, I’m wondering why it’s strangely wider than the rest 😅

Just brought this ficus home. I usually see people growing this type of ficus with one main stem. Am I correct to assume that each of these branches is a separate plant, or is it all branching from the main plant. If they are separate, how fussy are ficus roots? Will the plant care if I separate the smaller plants out after letting it settle into its new home?

Looking for advice on repotting my orchid. I received my orchid as a gift last year, however hadn’t quite known how to care for it until I got this app! Because of this - it’s never been repotted and the roots look desperate for more space. Does anyone have any recommendations for best pots for orchids? Also best way to repot without shocking or damaging the orchid? Thank you!

My gorgeous Caladium Lindenii. Since this photo, she has produced one full leaf, and a few more are popping up. In less than a month! This is my favourite plant right now! Any tips on care? Most concerned on watering. A good bottom soak? Water from the top straight through until clear? Fill her up and just let it drain a bit? I’ve heard so many different opinions.

Is this variegated? When I got this pothos it was small and didn’t have any other colour besides green 😅

Just noticed this on the bottom of my rubber plant. It’s not on every leaf but on some. Is this bad?? And the new leaf coming in is bumpy and it’s never looked like that before. Normally it’s been smooth.

this jade plant has not been doing great, i watered it a few weeks ago before leaving for a trip, so to make sure it would be okay, but i think it got overwatered because the leaves are very squishy and turning a darker colour, any advice on how to maybe save that plant?

In Texas we have a rose called Double Knock Out. It’s not listed in the plant data base so can it be added?

I live in Missouri, this is my first time to winter my plants. Most of them survived. When do I begin setting them back outside and how? Thanks

Recommendations for getting this corn plant back to a manageable size? It’ll likely be moved to a room without high ceilings. It is too top heavy anyways. Pot is about 1 foot deep.

hi all! pictured is my semi-regular (especially in the winter, if we get a sunny day) sunshine bath for all my indoor guys who get bright but indirect light. does anyone else do this, and what are your tips if so? i just kinda leave them out there all misted up to prevent them from getting too dry, then take them inside when i notice they start to look a little baked. i’ve noticed they perk up and sometimes the ZZ plants sprout new sprigs after!

Recommendations needed!! My mom had this plant (I believe it’s a dragon tree) and completely neglected it for almost a year. She gave it to me to try to revive it, so I gave it fresh soil as the old soil was molding. My cats got to it and chewed most of the leaves that were still healthy or just sprouting, so it looks really rough! I’m wondering if I should just trim the chewed leaves and keep waiting to see what happens, or if I should clip the stem and propagate/start over? I’m fairly new to owning plants and I’ve certainly not tried to revive one! Also, my cats are fine🤪

Hi! Phil here has started to get pretty leggy at the bottom. Is there anything I can do to make him less leggy? Should I clip off the leggy bits to propagate? Any advice is appreciated!

How many of you, whenever you water, use liquid fertilizer?
