Both of my Alocasia’s were were struggling due to thrips and spider mites, so I cut them down to zero leaves & started over. I was sadly thinking I was going to have to toss them both 🥹 but they came back better than ever🥲 a lil TLC ended up being well worth it🙌🏻

Any plant recommendations for my new plant balcony??? Here are a few things I would like for my new plants | | V - It would be great if I don’t have them already I have, a Chinese money plant, rubber plant, bird of paradise, zz plant, baby rubber plant, spider plant, and snake plant. I also have a lot of philodendron and pothos but it’s open to getting more. - I’m fine with easy and medium care difficulties Ana’s long as I don’t have to water them more than once a week. - I love leafy plants but I’m open to getting different varieties (like my ponytail psalm in the photo) - I have trouble taking care of plants that can easily loose leaves - The weather is sunny it gets light direct light for about 6 hours and indirect light for 6. It is a little windy but not too bad. - Lastly I’m looking for plants around the size range of 4-10 inch pots but I’m also looking for 1-2 larger plants for my large pot stands. If you reply thank you for the help!!!

Hi everyone! I hope the summer is treating you and your plant families well! We have a peace Lilly that has been struggling for the past several months. Upon watering it this past weekend, today I discovered what appears to be fuzzy mold. Has anyone seen or aware of what this might be and what steps I should take to save my plant? Brian H

My begonia is flowering for the first time, but I’ve noticed that several leaves have lost their “spots”. Does anyone know what causes this?

How does one propagate string of pearls?

I was watering my snake plant and noticed this piece loose and it came right out of the dirt. It has no roots. It looks healthy…but I am not quite sure what to do. I obviously know little about this plant. Not sure if I should stick it back in the dirt, prop it or throw it out. Help!!!

I need help:(((( I bought an elephant ear alocasia today from a box store….. was BADLY root bound, I got all the roots free and repotted in a bigger pot with better soil and agitation for the roots…. However one of the leaves is pretty yellow and quite droopy with some dried out spots on the leaf, and the biggest leaf has a hole in the middle of it. That has also dried out a bit in spots, do I need to cut the leaves off the plant or cut the damaged part of the leaf off?? is there anything else I can do?

Heyy! I just got this panda plant and I put it in a panda pot! I dunked it in fertilizer water because I heard that reduces the trauma of switching pots but one leaf fell off so I put it in the soil in the pot to grow a new sprout. I was just wondering if there’s a specific way to water it or anything I should be doing to keep my new baby healthy? (I painted the pot myself!)

This is my air plant Sully. It is tho only one I have managed to keep alive because my first one dried up and the second one blew away outside. I have actually witnessed my air plant growing. He lives in my room so he doesn’t blow away like the last one.

Hi everyone!! I’m a mother of 10 plant children and I am now on my third, yes THIRD, pilea. I love how chinese money plants look but for some reason I cannot for the life of me keep one alive. I just recently got this one about a week and a half ago, watered her 3 or 4 days ago, & she’s in moderate light. I noticed that some of the stems are brown(ing) and was wondering what that indicates? My first pilea was overwatered and dropped leaves at a crazy rate & my second one didn’t indicate any signs of over or under watering but also dropped leaves until it was just a stub. I want one of these guys to work out for me so badly but I desperately need tips!! Please help🙏

Hi plant people! I just saved this lovely thing from the garden Center but I don’t know what it is. Planta is saying it’s a jade plant but picture this is calling it a sea urchin sedum but can’t find it here! Thankyou in advance :)

This spring, I finally planted my little perennial herb garden here in Scandinavia, roughly in zone 4. It’s filled with thyme, lemon thyme, chives, lavender, rosemary, and oregano. Yesterday, I harvested a generous bunch to dry for winter cooking, tea, baths, and to fill the house with fragrance.

My zz plant has been doing great but recently its taller stems have started to lean. I think they grew a bit too tall and I didn’t rotate the pot enough but now they have a very big lean (almost 90°). I don’t know what to do I rotated it so hopefully to will grow back right and supported it against the wall. I also recently repotted it into a chunky soil kid and the roots were very healthy. Is this normal and is there any way to fix the lean with a trelice or something or should I just wait it out? Thank you in advance!!!

Hi! I recently cleared all my progress fro each of my plants. I didn’t know deleting a site would delete each plant from that site and now I lost all my progress pictures. Any suggestions or ideas to get it back?

hello !! i am relatively new to gardening. i’ve begun my journey mainly with herbs, one of which is my spearmint. she’s doing wonderfully (many new sprouts), but there’s one thing i’ve never seen before — it actually has tree-like branches and a hefty, woody stem. so as a newbie i ask: is this normal? is it actually the bottom of my plant being dead? did i just go my whole life without knowing that’s how spearmint grows? any explanation is appreciated greatlyyyy :)

Does anyone know what's wrong with my plant? It was thriving and flowering at least a month ago and now it's like greying and the leaves are slowly falling off

Wanted to show off this beautiful brand new leaf on my pride and joy: my rubber plant I propagated from a huge dying potted plant in an abandoned mall :)

Have you ever regretted giving away or selling a plant? I’m getting ready to do a big plant sale in two weeks (like a yard sale, but plants). I have a few plants I’m on the fence about. I’m afraid I’ll miss them when they’re gone. (The Sinningia, while pretty, is definitely going because I’m allergic to it! 😭)

I’m new to planting and been given the ones I have as gifts, I have only watched YouTube to know what to do this far but I have no idea what I’m doing. This was a beautiful Peace Lily that had one flower, then it died off, I freaked and got sad cause I lived it but didn’t know that’s part of the cycle till I searched it. Anyways the bigger leaves turned brown, I removed them and was left with these smaller ones and little bundles I’m hoping will get bigger. Any help given is greatly appreciated.
