Hello, Bought this Monstera a few months back and itās thriving and now itās growing a new leaf as well š¤ but everytime I see it I think it needs repotting, Iām scared to repot it as itās clearly root bound and Iāve read not to repot during fall or winter months. Please guide.
Questionā¦ Could I put a grow light in this lamp and will it be beneficial to my ZZ Plant if I do. The room gets good sun but Iām just wondering if a grow light might help. š¤·š»āāļø The picture of the room is there and ZZ would be just out of the picture on the left side (I needed to rearrange and had to move him).
Does the Planta App take rainy weather into consideration regarding outdoor watering schedule? Does it adjust the schedule? Thanks!

Are these spider eggs in my potting soil or am I stupid? Saw these in three of my plants that all use the same soil so Iām not sure if itās eggs or maybe the potting soil just does that?

So Iām very new when it comes to plants I planted some flowers over the summer that ended up dying and the soil has been sitting in the pot outside since then I need to plant some new plants that Iām propagating, do I need to buy fresh soil or can I just use the soil that I already have thatās been in the pots?

Hey guys! New plant parent here. Iāve had this peace lily for about 3 weeks now. And when I first bought the plant this leaf has been looking a little weak. Iāve tried to help it and Iāve done everything the app told me but the leaf still looks bad. Other news. My Peace Lilly is blooming nicely in the middle. So thatās good news? Right? š
It may be small but I noticed that my maranta popped out an almost perfect 50/50 variegated leaf! Iām going to be admiring this little one for the next while, so pretty!
My neighbor saw I started to have a collection of plants in my outside porch. Cut these 2 things off and left me a note, āEnjoyā. Bless her heart, I donāt know what these are. Any help? Iām assuming she just cut them off her original plant. The elephant ear looking one, 1 has a bent in it like it broke, should I save it or cut it off and propagate that in water? And the other, just put it in soil and keep it moving? š š š
Oh my gosh! My ārescueā ZZ plant from Walmart that I had to repot because it was too wet in that self watering pot is looking happy. So happy, in fact, itās sprouted 3 new leaf branches (is that what they are called?).

Hello! I had to move and repot my pothos plant which was growing very fast but only on one side because of how the sun was hitting it. Iāve noticed after the change(which maybe they donāt like) that they would droop more like this as in the picture. They would get like that when they needed water. Or maybe I overwatered it when I repotted, it does have good drainage. Not too sure, any ideas. Help!

Somethingās going on with my fiddle leaf fig, and I donāt know what the heck it is ! There was a time last spring that she nearly completely defoliated; I thought she was a goner. But, with time, she replaced all of her leaves, and is looking really well. However, just recently, she started dropping leaves againā¦ maybe three or four a day. Iām noticing that some of the leaves have darkened areas on the tips of the leaves, which you can see in the pictures. Does anybody know whatās happening to my plant; is she just neurotic, and every once in a while starts to defoliate??? TIA for any help you can give me about my fiddle figā¦ which I love! š„² š¤ššŖ“
Made a big list of plants Iād like to eventually add to my collection over time, Iām getting a China Money Plant sometime this week or the next, but I donāt know where to go after that. Which one of these should I go for first? Hawthoria Retusa Echeverias Burros Tail Sempervivum Portulacaria Aeonium Graptopetalum Gasteria String of hearts Hoya Calathea Orbifolia Baby tears Watermelon Pepperomia Medallion Calathea Hoya hearts Lemon Button Fern Calathea Dottie Calathea Maui Queen Calathea Rufubarba Boston Fern Birdās Nest Fern Prayer Plant I did a ton of research on all of these and any of them would work well for me, I just donāt know what to go for first. Also, I love String of Pearls but I have pets and theyāre toxic. Is there a safer, alternate option? Thank you all! š
Got a Dragon Wing (phyllanthus mirabilis) caudex 5 months ago and it just started waking up and getting some tiny leaves. Was almost ready to give up on it.
