Good morning lovelies, I’ve never seen this plant before, and it was marked down for $14.88 at a local hardware store so I grabbed her. She’s pretty! But I have to research now. Planta identifies her as Ctenanthe lubbersiana. Anybody have experience with this plant? Tips or tricks? Thank you!! 🌱

Has anyone grown Elephant ear bulbs indoor? The Walmart by me has a pack of 3 for $5 and I’m tempted to buy 2 packs. If you’ve grown these before could you please leave me some advice and tips below?!

Hi guys New app user here & struggling to get my head around some of the guidance. Despite the watering prompts, I only ever water when the the soil is checked first & it seems appropriate. I’ve definitely been an over-waterer in the past. What confuses me here is that I might get a prompt to water then a couple of days later get a fertiliser prompt. It seems odd to not take into account that I might have only just watered it so why’s it telling me to then fertilise (I always select fertiliser in water in plant settings. Pic below is a beautiful Polka Dot gifted to me from a friend today. It’s Mother’s Day in UK, I only have plant babies & a fur kid who had a major operation a few days back so he’s not doing great. I have no little people so this was a lovely surprise 🤩🤩🤩 Thanks for any advice on the watering/fertiliser front H x

White mold or bugs? I recently treated my plants with insecticidal soap because of a mealy bug outbreak. It’s been less than a week and I am seeing this on some plants (the begonia is the worst). Is this a continuing sign of the pests or is this mold of some sort? The begonia definitely had little cotton like pieces on the plant stem before treating. Help 😭

My succulents that I potted in an arrangement last week seem to be drying out? I did leave them outside in the rain for a day… could it be from over watering? They all seem to be browning and are mushy…The purple one used to be green and is also mushy now. I’ve never had good luck with succulents what am I doing wrong!

Hi Planta community, I am very new to owning plants and I got this Ginseng Bonsai few months ago. It’s been doing great till few weeks back until it started shedding leaves like crazy. The only change was I moved it to slightly lower light setting. Would greatly appreciate any tips on saving it from dying?

I transplanted my money tree plant a year ago. The root ball broke. The plant is still alive but only has one stem that survived. I use a plant app for watering but it seems I’m always over-watering. What should I do to help this plant?

Hey. So my money tree is growing new leaves but one of the babies is really deformed. Does anyone know why? It’s currently the tallest leaf on my tree. And should I cut it off to encourage new healthier growth?

My partner needs advice: I got this Jade plant a while back, it seems to be doing good but it keeps growing upward (which i've not seen much in other Jade plants usually they grow other side plants). Should I change the pot because it might be too small hence why it's not sprouting side plants?
