Does anyone use a moss pole for their pink princess? I just got my first one and the main stem seems thick and heavy but it doesn’t have a ton of leaves. Looks as if it needs support. Thanks in advance!

Hi! Anyone know how I tell Planta that I transplanted one of my plants? TIA
Very happy that my Calathea Orbifolia is flowering at its base! It’s only one tiny white flower, I killed the last one because I watered and misted with tap water, lesson learnt and this one seems very happy
Grow #5 I found this dude chilling on the mother plant I will keep him Justin case a pest finds his way in Everything is looking great and I have not fed anything yet No sign-off hunger life is good
what type of soil would you recommend for a fishbone cactus? i'm seeing mixed results online. thanks! 🌵🐟
My episcia, Blaze, surprised me with this today! 😍 I literally just watered her a couple days ago, and this wasn’t there. “Flame violet” is such an accurate name for them. That bold red color is to die for! 🔥
I want to do a complete redesign to our outdoor flower garden next year. Does anyone have educational resource recommendations? Like a masterclass or YouTube series? Looking to learn about the design principles, best practices, native/natural planting for my region (zone 5), and get some fun ideas. (Pic is from last season)
Today marks National Orchid Day! Let's celebrate by sharing some pictures of those beautiful orchids below 💚
Can someone explain the fertilization step to me? I think I am throwing my watering schedule off. When I fertilize my plants I use a liquid food. I add water to the pot before adding the food. As a result, when the app tells me it’s time to water them, they don’t need to be watered. Am I doing something wrong? Last year I didn’t water when I fed and some of my plants really suffered as a result.
This is the only leaf that is like this. Possible from transport, just got her last weekend. Should I trim off?
hi all, i have a philodendron mican, and epipremnum cebu blue can anyone tell me if these are rooting yet? i see they both have little things going on but they look very different than all my other plants roots that i’ve propagated so i wasn’t sure if they were roots or not, the mican has those little thingys futher up as well so i assumed they weren’t roots.
Can anyone tell me what this is? Nursery said it was a philodendron of sorts…
Hello everybody I hope all is well I was gifted this plant and have no clue how to take care of it and tips? Also what is the scientific name?
How do I treat the white fuzzy stuff on my VERY old jade?
What is going on?! Is that a mushroom growing in my money tree pot?! Is this ok?
I'm going on vacation for a week and don't have a plant sitter lined up. Anyone have any tips for keeping 40+ houseplants alive while I'm away?? And buying self-warering pots for each one is currently not an option.
Wild Wednesday! Introduce us to your quirkiest, most personality‑filled plant. 🤪
Idk if anyone remembers the picture of Pittacus my sensitive plant from last year. Winter time was a TAD bit rough since it was my first and I didn’t have a grow light for most of Winter. Now that it’s spring though, he is taking off absolutely LOVING life! 🖤🖤🖤
Hi plant people! I’m using a self watering (wick system) pot for the first time with the Moon Valley Pilea I bought at Walmart. It, and the soil, were pretty dry at first. I’ve filled the reservoir about 3 times and it’s emptied every time. Now the soil is pretty damp…is Marvin that thirsty? Or do I need to not worry about keeping the reservoir filled?
I think i got thrips or gnats? Ive have plants for a couple years but i recently bought a ton since spring here 😅. I cant tell which plant it’s coming from because I have them all on one plant stand as I have a kid and a cat. I also keep them together to help a little bit with the humidity for some of my plants that need high humidity and I know that pests enjoy that. I tried to let the soil dry out completely to avoid this, but we all come across this eventually. I just haven’t dealt with this before now I’m treating with those yellow sticky traps everywhere to get adult adults and now I want to treat the larvae or any babies. I’m going to go to the store today to grab some stuff and I was thinking of some mosquito bits and a spray. What would you recommend recommendations be to help with this so I can go out and buy some products to help them
