Hi! Random question as I build up my plant shop: 1) Out of these monsteras- Regular Albo Aurea Thai Mint What would you rank as your favorite in order? 2) What are other plants you’d like to add to your collection?

I have a stair landing that has an eastern facing octagonal window. It gets indirect morning light. I would like to get a pet friendly plant that would do well with the lighting. Is there a pet friendly plant that you think would do well here? This is an evening photo just so you can see the distance the table top is from the window. I am mostly familiar with calathea and Peperomia plants. I have a rattlesnake plant that is thriving one floor up in the house near a similar facing window. Do you think that a rattlesnake plant would do well with this lighting, or would it be considered too far away to receive enough light? Maybe a Boston fern? There’s a large peacock plant at Whole Foods that is gorgeous but I don’t know if it would be too big for the landing table.

Got my very first watermelon peperomia! đŸ€ I’m still having hard time figuring out which size of pot I should get and how I should repot. I got a clay pot with drainage hole (6” diameter, 5” tall) but I’m not sure if it’s appropriate to plant it directly to the pot. I also have a ceramic pot without holes and a plastic nursery pot that goes inside it. (5” diameter, 5.5” tall) I greatly appreciate any kind of tips!

This was my baby girl Kita that past on March 31 in my arms. She was almost 14 and one of the sweetest little dog I have ever had. I friend gave me this geranium when she past and it has bloomed none stop since I got it. I think she is watching over it for me. Love and miss you little one. ❀

Hello everyone! I am new to Planta and taking care of plants. Do any of ya’ll know what is wrong with my Coleus leaves? They have splits in the middle and I’m pretty sure it’s not any kind of pest. If any one knows anything please help!!

Can anyone tell me what type of Albuca this actually is. Deep dive on the interwebs doesn’t help a lot. It needs to be repotted as it’s trying hard to burst through the sides of the small nursery pot and it continued to grow longer than other I see on the internet

Hey! Does anyone know what’s wrong with my cherry red tomato plant as you can see in the photo most of its leaves have the yellow/brown rotting to it it didn’t usually have this till a couple days ago I noticed it was getting everywhere on the plant does anyone know how I can fix this, also the tomatoes aren’t growing they’re kind of just staying the same size and showing no coloration difference. If anyone can tell me what’s going on and how to fix it that would be great. Thanks!

Any suggestions why my zz leaves are yellowing? I’m supposed to water today and there was a new sprout. Should I go forward with watering or too much sun?

No garden? No problem! 🌿 You don’t need a big backyard to grow your own little paradise. Whether it’s a sunny balcony, a windowsill, or a tiny patio—small spaces can bloom beautifully. đŸŒ± Tip 1: Go vertical! Go Horizontal! Make use of the size and shape of your space. Use hanging pots, wall planters, narrow but long planters or shelves to make the most of your space. 🍓 Tip 2: Grow what you eat and need - herbs, salad greens, and strawberries thrive in containers. Focus on what you really want out of your space. đŸŒŒ Tip 3: Choose plants that multitask—like edible flowers or herbs that look pretty and spice up your meals. A little green goes a long way. Got a small garden of your own? đŸ€©đŸȘŽ

My ZZ plant is growing a new stem but at the same time I seeing lots of yellow leaves. This happened close to the time this app flagged watering (approx 30 day cycle). I keep pushing the watering thinking that I might be doing it too frequently but it’s unclear to me. Any ideas?

Does anyone else have a bamboo ginger?! I got this guy a while back from the clearance section at Lowe’s. He was water logged in a pot that was way too big for him, but today he’s doing great! I really don’t know too much about this plant but curious if others have had more experience with them. TIA ❀

Hey y'all! đŸ‘‹đŸŒ Should I get this leaf off of here? It started dropping and getting discolored almost immediately after that new leaf came up.

Took almost an hour to disentangle the dish and then the remaining soil, but man was she worth it. Fingers crossed I keep this one alive, she’s a rebuy đŸ€žđŸŒ
