We are beyond thrilled to introduce our newest Planta ambassador, Amanda - _amandawolff on tiktok.
A lifelong plant lover from Florida, Amanda brings a sunny, genuine energy to the community that we fell in love with instantly.
In Amanda’s words:
“I have been a plant lover for as long as I can remember! My favorite plants include the ZZ plant and the banana plant!” 🍌🌿When she’s not at the beach or Disney World, you’ll find Amanda trying a new coffee shop or hanging out with her banana plant, Brian.
We’re so excited to follow her journey and have her onboard. Welcome to the team, Amanda!

I am looking to add some plants to my home. But I’m not sure where to start.. I have Aloes currently. What do you recommend I try next?

Here’s my fiddle leaf fig, he is almost 2 years old. He’s been THRIVING in this spot, but I’m worried he needs a repot (same pot for the past 2 years) Everything I see says that fiddle leafs are very dramatic after a repot. Any advice yall have about repotting or what I should do, please let me know!

My entire collection is in clear pots now! And so will my future babies that join my little plant family. I love ChatGPT. I don’t have a lot of IRL plant friends, so she’s been my go-to when it comes to plant parenthood. 🥹💚

Has anyone ever experienced something like this? My BOP is growing a new spear and it decided to go into a side trunk, and grow from out of there. I was able to carefully remove it and now it’ll hopefully grow straight up.

So, my prayer plant just bloomed but now it looks like the stem it was growing on is all dried up? Should I trim this back or just leave it?

I got my first plant today

Help Planta babies! I’ve been keeping this plant close to the stove but never near a lit burner, does this look like heat damage? Or is it something scarier that I need to trim immediately? Thank you in advance!

Just looking for some advice. I have this Red Edge Peperomia that I'm trying to bring back to life after it was left out in the last winter & killed nearly the whole plant off. I've managed to bring it back a bit, i.e, new leaves have grown back.
However, the other week I noticed half of the main stem had rotted off sideways & so I'm now wondering if there's any way to cut or propergate the 2-3 leaf sections growing from the stem so they will grow their own roots & can be potted up to continue to grow.
I'm just worried the other half of the stem will rot too & I'll lose the whole thing 😔😪🤧

Thinking of cutting a vine off of one or both of these, chopping individual nodes, and propagating one or both. Thoughts? I’m scared yall I’ve never tried propagating before but I want to give it a shot

Interested in this Alocasia Bambino to add to my growing (pun intended) collection! Anyone have one? Any suggestions? Is Bubbleblooms on Amazon a trusted seller?

I think I figured some of you scammers out.
Going on Facebook marketplace offering plants for sale, and all you did was swap cache pots with something you picked up at Trader Joe’s!
I’m onto you!
Just kidding. However I do think that there’s a scheme here set up by Todd.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone’s having a sunny afternoon! I had a question for everyone; What do you do to prevent fungus gnats on newly bought plants/or how do you tackle them when they are already there?

Treasured Thursday is all about the plants that hold a little extra meaning. Which plant in your collection carries a story special to you 💚

Got this beautiful plant for half price at Lowe’s. 30 dollars! Definitely needed/s some pruning and love, but I bet I can care for it just fine. Name recommendations, anyone?
