Hi plant lovers! I’ve just ‘winterised’ my cayenne chillies by bringing them inside (UK autumn is definitely starting now) as per Planta’s advice, which includes reducing watering and fertilising. They were ‘watered’ today as they were outside when it rained, but Planta is telling me to fertilise in 4 days. Is this recommended? I thought winterising meant to stop fertilising as often? Please guide me so I don’t kill them! Thanks 💕

Does anyone know what this weird sap is, coming from my vein plant? It’s sticky and only coming from this one offshoot… I wiped some off of one leaf to get a closer look at the pore, and I don’t see any signs of pests. Any ideas are much appreciated!

I never thought I’d be the kind of person that would get excited waiting for plant leaves to unfurl but here I am!

I'm so excited, I have three new plants but I have a situation needing help with one. The tall Snake plant had the top intertwined with rubber bands and was cutting off life. I removed it but what do I use to keep it going that way but not harm the plant??

What’s like the best rare plant to have in my collection? The only plant I would consider rare in my collection is my variegated elephant ear and my pink princess philodendron. :)

Hi again!! I’m a new plant parent, and these are my newly adopted children (Snake, spider, prayer, Hoya, and Chinese money plant). Planning to have them indoors. I’m new to this and particularly concerned about the prayer plant - I heard they like humidity. Please give me tips - what is the best way to achieve this? Will spritzing regularly be enough or do I have to install a humidifier? I’ve heard I can also use a pebble tray - is this enough or is a humidifier usually required? Which of these will grow best together?

Anyone ever see this with an avocado? If I didn't personally root this myself I may not believe it's from an avocado pit.... Gave it to a coworker and this is what it's looked like for a couple months. Any ideas?

Ain't she pretty? I am hoping she continues to grow and thrive. Her older leaves have some damage.
