Well, this Jack has survived last winter indoors in my basement with grow lights, and had its first summer outdoors in NJ. Seems fairly happy and there’s growth at the base… What should or shouldn’t I do to keep him growing? I’d did drop the lower leaves as you can tell. That happened over the season. Our nights are dropping into the 50s and I’d feel better about bringing it back inside.. Any suggestions welcomed and appreciated! Just for info- I did not transplant- this is exactly how I bought on clearance last fall. 😊😊

Not sure if my prayer plant has transplant shock or is just adjusting. It arrived in the mail two days ago. There were roots coming out of the holes of the nursery pot, so I moved it into the bigger pot immediately. In hindsight, I should have let it acclimate to its new environment before transplanting it. Now, it’s opened up a lot more (too much?), but one of the bottom leaves feels fragile and rolled up slightly. Does this look like transplant shock, and will it make a recovery? The picture with three plants in it are from when it arrived two days ago. The other two pictures are from today. Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but I want to make sure it’s happy!
Hello friends! I feel like I’m posting so much, don’t mind me. I found this little guy at Home Depot and bought on impulse not knowing what plant it is. It only says “foliage” on the nursery pot. Could anyone tell me what this cutie is? Thanks!
New leaf on my white wizard! Love how it’s half green half white! Recently bought it and it grew a new leaf. Must like where it’s at.
He’s growing! Papa’s so proud 🥹

So question… I read that placing a pothos clipping in your propagation jar will help other plants propagate. Is this true?

When plants need distilled water and not tap, would it be alright to use reverse osmosis? Ex. dragon tree and heart leaf philodendron.
Bought these for our patio and want to keep them alive when it cools down. I’m in zone 8b, Washington State. Does anyone have experience and success with bringing “annuals” indoors and having them thrive?
Visiting Krohn Conservatory for the gothic butterfly exhibit ☺️
I could not resist- Pink Princess on the %75 off clearance rack at Lowe’s! Broke my heart to leave 2 behind.. much worse shape but for $4.00 I’ll be going back. I love this kind of challenge and I want to do right. I am thinking repot with better soil mix, but am I actually looking at double plants in each pot here, or treat them as one? I will start them on support steaks when able, and they’ll be coming indoors for winter- grow lights are already here and waiting. I can’t wait to see how these grow- very excited🥰 Any suggestions welcome!
We got a new plant shelf today for this corner of the room, loving the vibes but now I need more plants.. any suggestions? Ive been successful with climbing and trailing plants, as well as other beginner level plants. Trying to find things that wont grow too tall for underneath the shelfs

Today was an amazing day at Home Depot—almost all the plants were on sale! I couldn't resist and ended up picking up four beautiful plants! I'm super excited to get them settled in. If anyone has any tips for plant care, I’d love to hear them! I'm also in the process of removing the broken leaves to help them thrive. Can't wait to watch them flourish!
Hi all! I’m kind of a new plant parent to be. I’ve had plants before but I have a brown thumb, sad to admit. I think the only plant that survived in my house was an ivy and that was like 20 years ago. Anyway, my son is the green thumb person in the house and both of us want to add plants in the house which he’s promised to be the one to care for them all. We have 3 cats so of course we’re looking to get nontoxic plants for the house. One of our problems is natural lighting. The living room, kitchen and my son’s room all get some natural lighting. My room has ZERO windows but I still want something in my room except I don’t want to have to invest in expensive artificial lights. Can anyone suggest a plant that might survive in a windowless room that’s also pet safe? Thanks in advance
