How do I get my monstera to stand up more? I would love to move her in closer to the window but she's already got leaves smushed up over there. I have a grow light over head. It's a good southern window and she seems happy I just want to know if she could be more vertical. The one next to is even more horizontal with the leaves.

Hey guy! I’ve been considering whether I should get a moss pole or trellis for this baby. I like how it looks wild, but it may be getting toooo leggy. Thoughts?

I’m new to the app and enjoying it. I do have a question about light.
There is nothing to indicate that a site gets a lot of indirect light. I have a sun room which has east and west facing windows and a large south facing siding glass door. There is very little direct sun (we live in the woods) but the room is filled with bright indirect light all day. Currently I have things set to part sun/part shade but that is not really accurate. Is there a better way to indicate bright indirect light?

I moved and it still shows me plants from a year ago. How do I get rid of that?

How many if you move some or all of your house plants outside for the summer? I live in Memphis where it is very hot and humid. Some do great outside. My issue are all the spiders and gnats that end up making their homes in my babies. What does everyone do about it? Just a few of my babies 💚

I need some desperate help on one of my precious monsteras. She’s been sitting in my front living room for about a year and a half. Every year during the summer I put her and my other monstera outside (this other monstera has always been larger). I went to do that this year and this happened (see scorches below). Before that I was considering repotting her to a bigger pot with more of a chunky soil mix. As soon as I saw the scorched leaves, I brought her inside and then repotted her.
While repotting her, I used a brand new bag of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark. I also fertilized her and gave her roots a nice cleaning. In the midst of this, I accidentally ripped one of the new leaves.
My question is …since the scorched leaves aren’t ever going to get better, do I cut them all the way back? What about the one that I accidentally ripped? I literally don’t know what to do. Help!!

Recently started my houseplant journey.
I was given this monstera which has been growing without any support and been badly pruned. I’m now now unsure what I do to fix the issue as the main stems are all over the place. Any tips would be appreciated, cheers.

Strictly speaking this is not about a plant. I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share it.
some of the crystals are sharp enough to puncture skin.
Rain got into a container of 30-10-10 liquid fertilizer. It sat undisturbed for 4? years.
the hollow space in the middle is where a measuring scoop was.
Has anyone else seen this?

Half way to Mexico for 4 days! Everyone who needed it got watered right b4 I left. I don’t have the kind of grow light you can program for more than the one session…so I’m hoping nobody throws a tantrum by the time I get back!🤞 East facing window, so the morning light party goes pretty hard! Any suggestions for when I return to them!?
