I'm gonna be gone for a week and a half and I'm not sure how to get my 90+ plants cared for. Our neighbors are coming over and I'd like to have 3 groups or less of plants that they can do the same thing with but with the rarer ones I have it's near impossible. Any tips on making it easier for them?

I joined a plant club today at a local garden center. I might not keep it up though. I came home with so much and I really am trying to keep it simple. Argh 😣 that’s the problem! Anyway I got these three little cuties I’ve never had before so that should give me something to think about for a while. Final spot for the air plant (grow slow), and no plan in place for the others. It will be fun to find something to put them in.

Hi so I have this snake plant, would you guys recommend for me to cut the bottom so it can grow roots or just leave it as is?

Hello! 👋 As someone who adores art and creativity, the one thing that sticks out to me the most about owning plants are the customized pots! It gives plants some flavor or an extra kick 🦵 so if you wanna make it more exciting i definitely recommend customized pottery for your plants!! 🪴

Can someone ID this plant? It feels like a monstera to me but the planta ID scan is all over the place.

My Lilly had a double bud and she just opened. I haven't ever saw this on a plant before. She was only fertilized one time all season as well. I finally found a unicorn! I thought other plant people would get my excitment!!

Hello, new plant pops here. I was recommended to purchase a moisture meter. I already have one, but I am not entirely sure how to use it. My meter has a scale from 1 to 10, where 1-3 indicates “Dry,” 4-7 indicates “Moist,” and 8-10 indicates “Wet.” Are “Dry” and “Wet” always undesirable, or does the optimal level vary depending on the type of plant I am caring for? For instance, I believe rosemary prefers to dry out slightly between waterings. Should I water it until the meter reads “Moist,” then check periodically until it reaches “Dry,” and then water again? Conversely, for a tomato plant, which I believe requires more consistent moisture, should the soil always read “Moist” when I check it?

Hello! I’m somewhat new to raising plants- I’ve had this one about a year (pretty much my longest one) and there are now brown spots on the leave. I think I overreacted and made it worse. I think it’s a rubber plant, it’s quite small and just from the grocery store. Can the leaves recover from the brown spots? I think it’s maybe from overwatering and not enough sunlight- but I’m not sure if I should just cut the bad leaves off and see if new ones will grow in their place. Thanks in advance!

Y'all. I finally finished moving, and my plants are, to put it as politely as possible, absolutely hating everything. I moved to a house with higher humidity and pretty nice light, so I am not currently interested in hearing their little planty complaints... I just hope they adjust well soon. Keep your fingers crossed or me!

Wondering when it is best to repot a plant. I’ve had this golden pothos almost a year! It’s droopy because it needs water but I noticed a lot of new growth and length. If someone could give me some advice that would be great! Thanks!🪴

Hi! I’m relatively new to houseplants and currently have about 15! I’m going to the greenhouse tomorrow to pick out a few more hehe which ones should i get? I’m looking for a few that need indirect light and i have a sun room that gets full sun 😅 please help

Hi! New plant mom here! Does anyone know what’s going on with my peace lily? It was initially kept inside my office but I brought her home for some TLC and sunlight. I water it regularly, and it has lots of new growth flowers coming in but these two flowers have turned brown and are drooping. Is this normal for peace lilies?

Is something weong with my rubber tree? Bottom leaves were turning yellow and falling off so I repotted (photos show before and after). The shorter one is thriving and sheath is red, but my taller one (black pot) seems stunted. The top stem is a lot lighter than rest of stem and the sheath hasn’t developed at all in 4 weeks or so and stays green. I just switched pots on Saturday… should it recover or do I need to do something different?

Hey guys! I’ve had an amaryllis for the last four years, but not once has it bloomed. It’s only ever grown the leaves and not the flowers. I let it have a dormancy period and everything too. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Mercedes

Hi, Does anyone know how to update repots in this app? It is unclear how to put in the new date, it just shows me the last time I repotted.

Hello! 👋 I was looking through Pinterest and I came across this adorable plant that I am very interested in buying myself, but I have no idea what it’s called or where I can find it 🥲 Does anyone know where and what this plant is??

Plant suggestions Hello, I currently have a little planter (a tray with 3 pots that are about 5 inches across each) this area is on a shelf with about 20 inches of clearance between the shelf above it. It gets relatively indirect light from a west window. Are there any plants that could fit in that space and be happy there long term? I’d like 3 different ones if possible

I’m just about done with this Calathea Roseopicta. I bought her last September from a big box store thinking she would be easy to care for. I went on a vacation in March and my husband forgot to water her so she got very dry. She lost most of her leaves. I tried nursing her back to health, but she still wasn’t thriving so last month I repotted her. Now she has only five leaves. I checked the care info and she’s in a great location, she’s on a good watering schedule, and I fertilize her as instructed. I don’t get it. Is this a hard plant to care for?
