I’m looking for some advice this is my polka dot begonia, 100% my favorite plant and also my newest. it’s my dream plant so i want to take good care of it. however, i’ve been told that it’s sensitive to draft and i often keep my windows open in the summer. not a lot of strong winds come through the windows, but sometimes there can be a bit of a breeze. will this turn out to be a problem for my begonia, or is it only strong winds that will be detrimental to it?
Hey y’all!!! I’m a new plant mama and I have no idea what soil/fertilizer to use for my plants. I have a Snake Plant and a Money Tree. I, also, don’t know how to save my Money Tree. She looks like her base is rotting, but her leaves are still very green??
Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden my fig leaf is losing leaves it was doing sooo well it was dormant during the winter but started growing new leaves when the spring came now their dropping off 😩😩😩
Can somebody help me figure out what happened at the base of my aloe plant? I’m new at taking care of plants, and I just got this guy a little over a week ago in perfect condition. Now I looked and saw that the base of this leaf is mushy, a little brown, and floppy.
Eek. What is this stuff in the soil of my Njoy Pothos?? I was about to water it when I noticed this unhealthy leaf, so I pulled it out of its pot to make sure everything looked good, and this is what I found. Some kind of mold I presume. Hoping it’s harmless, but regardless, what is the best course of action? I’ve had this plant for about a month.

I just received a lovely Watermelon Peperomia in the mail today. Thought I’d ask for any tips from anyone who’s had this type of peperomia a little longer than I have, especially about repotting and soil brand tips. I currently have a Variegated Peperomia Obtusifolia that’s enjoying a spot in my north windowsill, but I don’t want to assume that just cause Wanda here’s also a peperomia that she’ll like that spot just as much as Penny (my Var. Pep.). Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Looking for help🙏🥺Got this birds of paradise few months ago. But it’s looking down and the leaves are splitting or yellowing. The growth is so slow. I water once it’s dry, give it some food, place them next to the window and remove any dust. What can I possibly do to help it better grow?
What can I do for possible mealy bugs or scale?
These fungus gnats are getting to me so I’m considering switching to bottom watering. I’ve seen people say they just fill their plants saucer, but that doesn’t seem like enough water to me. Do you fill it multiple times or something? Below is a pic of the thick well draining plastic liners most of my plants are in.
Looking for some help! 🙏🏼 I finally bought my first Monstera last weekend. I felt like maybe she wasn’t getting enough light in my window so I’ve put her outside in the early morning sunlight for 2-3 hours the last few days (I live in northern NY). I thought she was liking it since I even got a new fenestration but I noticed that the tips of the leaves are curling down? Is this normal? I’m afraid maybe the sun hurt it, and I’m not sure what to do (I haven’t watered it since I bought it in fear of overwatering, also, and I did a wipe down with neem oil on the leaves this afternoon so I plan to keep her out of the sun for the next day or two). I’d really appreciate anyone’s help; I’m new to this and really want to keep her happy and healthy 🥹
Name some fast growing and “different” looking plants that I could add to my collection. I find I love my monsteras (delicisoa and adansonii) bc they grow so fast! Also love my philo basil for that reason. What are some others you would suggest with funky leaves or colors? Thanks!

How long does it usually take monstera leaves to unfurl? This one has been trying to for a couple weeks now.
Got this plant in Feb, it was in a teeny tiny grower’s pot so i repotted it immediately into the one pictured. As you can see, she’s grown quite a bit in the last few months! At what point should I put her in a larger pot? Thanks!
