I am changing all of my house plants over to bottom watering pots. How often do you put water there? Do you keep water in the bottom all the time?

Is there any hope? I have waited weeks for a new shoot, instead another strand died. "Never give up" I'm sure there is a way.🙂

My banana plant has really compact soil from when I got it. I haven’t watered in two weeks and it’s still moist so I’m worried about root rot. I was planning to repot, but it’s putting out a new leaf. Should I wait to repot until the leaf is unfolded? It usually unfolds pretty quick. The roots that I can see from the drainage holes look good right now. Thanks!

Anyone familiar with why my Thai pink lipstick plant like once a month has these raisin looking leaves I have to cut off?

Any idea what this is? I feel like it’s just soil or something but this is the second leaf my elephant ear has popped out since planting it from a bulb. I’ve noticed some fungus gnats but I’ve been treating the plant to get rid of them. Nothing crawling & just flakes right off. Just curious though.

Help! I have a False Aralia 'Bianca' and it's just melting and melting I'm not sure she can even be saved anymore! Tips? Do I just toss in the bin? What it looks like now vs when I got it

My family got an orchid as a gift 4 years ago. It bloomed the first year, after all the flowers were gone they never cared about it. It had mushy roots and she was just sad. Just 6months ago, I cut almost all the roots, changed it into water, put it in lots of sunlight. I basically revived it, gave her some love and there you go, gave me back 3 beautiful flowers. One more on the way🌸🥹

Hello everyone. I need some help with plant identification. I think I have a Philodendron Moonlight and a Perpperomia Rain Drop. But I would like some confirmation. The labels just say 'assorted foliage' and 'yes, I need water'. Very helpful! 🙄

Hi guys, I need your help. My sister has this jalapeño plant. And on some of the leaves, it has this white powder stuff. I think it is thrips not sure though. She can’t wipe them off. She can scratch them off, but it’ll hurt to leave.Any ideas on how to treat it and could it be a different pest? Thank you for all of your responses.

Identification? Received after loss in family. Any help and information would be very appreciated! For example soil or soil mixture, fertilizing, etc. Anything one could think of, I am also researching on my own but would like to receive knowledge from the experienced.I know the big one is a Zz plant. :)

Can I use Miracle-Gro Houseplant Potting Mix for my plumosa fern? That’s the only soil I have and I’m not sure if it works for plumosa ferns or ming ferns. Thanks!

Hey, my girl Naomi has been with me since COVID, and she keeps getting these white sticky spots on her. I've been wiping them off with a mix of diluted vinegar and a damp cloth, but they always come back. I’m not really sure what the best way is to keep her healthy overall. She’s a bit raggity lately too. Any advice would be really appreciated!

I am not sure what is going on with this plant. It's seen too dry, then too moist. Now it's on The Dry side, but it's looking not so healthy. However, it does have a new shoot coming out. Do you think it needs transplanting cutting back or what might anyone suggest?
