Hello all! Somewhat new plant parent with about 1.5 years of owning them. I write this as I am goinging through and logging into Planta all 12+ new plant babies (although, I'm rather irritated that Planta deleted my first typed version! So frustrating!) I can tell what most of them are, except 4 of them, so I'm hoping u guys can help me!!!! The 3 palms Google says they're all Parlor Palms (I am aware they're is tradescantiain growing in 1 of them.) The hanging plant that has both the hanging plant and the tradescantia in one pot google says it's a golden pothos, but I have several of those and it really doesn't look much like mine. I think the yellowing on some of the leaves is from stress and not varigation. The other plant google says is a Monstera Burle Marx Flame, is this what this is? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi I’m new to this app and plants in general, but I’m falling love! I figured this would be the best place to start- what would one recommend for a good beginner bathroom plant? Our bathroom has NO natural light, but a large counter and lots of hanging space, and outlets. Thank you in advance! 🖤💚

I repotted my monstera deliciosa back into chunky mix after it started declining from being repotted in all leca. I also moved all My alocasias to semi-hydro layers of leca, sphagnum moss, chunky mix with the roots and then sphagnum moss on top. Fingers crossed that they thrive! My little monstera tissue cultures are in the picture, too. So far they’re doing very well.

Got this beauty from the trash and just repotted it, can someone tell me what it is? Also how can I help with the yellow/brown leafs? I really want to keep it alive and I am really new to potted plants!

I thought that the orchid was actually growing but then I went to wipe the leaves and it just popped off but the top has growth And now I’m scared 😭😭 I have killed every single orchid I’ve ever had and I don’t know what to do or how to fix it or if it’s even save-able 😭 Should I repot it? Water more often? Idk

Monstera woe, part 184... Thrips damage (over the summer) and maybe root rot? The small, sad leaf just unfurled this past week. The other stem is still ok....should I separate the stems? Just the severe damage stem and hope for the best? Maybe I am not meant to be a Monstera Mama.

I love this wall of plants 🪴 😍 they like being cozied up with each other especially the begonia imperialis. It loves humidity so I put it next to a pothos which creates humidity 💧

I have been experimenting with LECA with mixed results. I first tried it with a milk confetti syngonium that already wasn’t doing well and putting it into LECA didn’t save it. I also repotted a Mickey Mouse alocasia and monstera that aren’t doing too well in it. The alocasia now has one leaf and the monstera had several yellow leaves today. I followed a video and put them in all LECA in a self watering pot after getting all the soil off. I also did this with a pink syngonium and so far that plant seems to be adjusting well. I put two alocasias into a layered method and so far they are THRIVING with beautiful new leaves. It is a variegated mint dragon scale and a frydek. I put thin layers of LECA on the bottom, then sphagnum moss, then chunky mix with the plant roots and another thin layer of sphagnum moss on top. On the bottom I put just enough water to reach up to the LECA layer. I hope it continues to help them to thrive.

My spaghetti agave committed suicide🥲 I tried to resuscitate it after it took a strong disliking to life in the bearded dragon enclosure, but the bottom part simply let go of the rest of the plant
