Hi guys! I bought my orchid two weeks ago. I repotted it because the pot was too small and the roots were coming out of it, however i didn’t cut the flower. There is one flower that is done flowering and there were two that fell off and didn’t flower at all. What can I do to keep my orchid alive? And how can I propagate it? Before and now pics
Hello. Everyone always talks about spider plants and propagating but I’m Not sure if mine are too young yet or what do I do with the long stem they come out from? Do I just cut them off or let them keep growing? Also it’s throwing out flowers, am I doing this right 😎🤞🏼Suggestions? Help 🙈
Is this roots ? This aloe was really bad with rot but i didn’t just wanted to throw it out so i clean it and sick it back on some soil it hadn’t die so i checked on it could it be new roots?

Hello everyone, New to the app. And with my first question. I posted this in another app. But still looking for opinions / info. So this is a copy/paste. Ruby rubber, I’ll be repotting either end of May or beginning of June, depending on weather. She came in what looks to me like regular soil. Because my condo is not that bright, I’ll be repotting to a dryer soil. I haven’t water since I brought it in March 17, today is April 25 and the meter still reads in the middle of humid. My question is, how much of the soil should I remove? There are 3 trunks in the 10x9 inch pot. Do I get pretty close to the center or what kind of surrounding soil should I leave? The pot she’s going into is 12” and 16” deep, but it gets narrower at the bottom. And I’ll be usingg even dryer soil in lowest 3rd of the pot. The window where she’s at gets no sun on the actual pot.
Attending a local plant fair/festival! So excited to see some wonderfully grown plants (and possibly bright home some for myself).
hi all! I recently repotted and propagated my mint plant and noticed what I think is a bunch of mushrooms, so thought I’d share. Internet said it’s a sign of a nartural & healthy soil, what do you think? any idea what it might be? update: my bio professor claims that it’s actually a protist, that isn’t harmful and breaks down dead organic matter into usable nutrients for the plant. it’s ironically dubbed ‘dog vomit slime mold’
Is it time to repot my rattlesnake plant? I got it two months ago and it’s done great! Tons of new leaves have unfurled. The nursery pot it’s in feels very stiff, a few roots are coming out of the bottom, and water drains through too quickly so I thought I should repot. However, when I looked it up, many people said you should only repot in early spring before it starts it’s growth cycle (it’s already in its growth cycle now). Any thoughts appreciated , thanks!
She’s loading 🫶🏾🌱
Hi all! Any ideas why my tineke is browning on the edges? I’ve been following the Planta schedule and also checking to make sure it’s accurate according to when the soil drys out enough. She’s about 3’ from west window.
Hello everyone. Hope you’re having a great week so far. I’m reaching out because i recently received this Moonshine Snake Plant. When it first came some of the soil was out of the pot and the plant was a mess. I checked it and saw that the roots were healthy so I kept it in the same pot but with fresh appropriate soil. However, now I feel like the plant is too big for the pot or I may have placed it leaning by mistake. Will it be ok if it’s leaning in this pot? Or is it too big for this specific pot. Any guidance is welcomed. Thank you in advance! 🙏🏽
Lily the peace Lily you’re getting big girl 😍❤️ When should I repot she’s growing fast
