Just getting into plants! Can’t wait to learn more these are the 5 I have right now, have a grow light coming Sunday or Monday. I also will have another pothos coming a nice neon one. Otherwise there’s 4 spider plants and the Cebu blue pothos. Any tips or advice to get them to grow and be able to produce babies and so I can propagate.

I’m unfortunately facing a case of the mealybugs from a plant I rescued recently, which has spread to my klenia petraea, Julie. This is my first time dealing with mealybugs on one of my own plants, but I know the usual treatment is with isopropyl alcohol. Here’s my dilemma: Julie seems to hate anything being put/sprayed on her leaves, even insecticidal soap or neem oil, so I fear using the alcohol will definitely lead to damaged leaves. She’s also pretty densely populating her pot, so trying to put systemic granules on the small bits of soil that is exposed on the surface would be pretty tedious, so I’d love to know if anyone has any creative treatment options for Miss Julie, cause she’s one of my favorites, and has taken a long time to grow to this size, so I don’t consider tossing her an option. TIA for any advice. It’s very greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays, everyone! ❄️

My Christmas cactus hasn't bloomed this year or last year :(. It is healthy and grows new leaves frequently. Why is this?

For the last few weeks I’ve been making planter arrangements for gifts and also revamping those that were coming up on being a year old. This is my last one and it was truly for total fun. I enjoyed doing it and wanted to share. Hopefully it will last till Halloween.

Came back from a 2 week vacation to half of my plant collection infected with spider mites :( i already threw away about 5 different plants that were either really infected or i didn’t care to save. i checked my entire collection again today and found more webbing on more plants that weren’t there yesterday. i’ve rinsed them all under water & sprayed them with insecticide soap, and plan to spray them all again in a few days. i also have them all quarantined and spaced apart from each other with fans + humidifiers going. this is my first time ever dealing with spider mites & would appreciate any tips to prevent them & completely get rid my current infestation. also, looking for tips on how to treat my giant monstera effectively. i already sprayed her down in the tub + insecticide soap on her update 1: i have split my plants into 2 groups, group 1 was treated 12/21 and group 2 was treated 12/23. I treated group 1 again (12/24), most had no webbing only my 2 Pink Princesses had webbing still and it was only 1-3 strands.

Over at a friends house and this infestation is insane! I want to help salvage it, but i am unsure if its too far gone… Every single stem looks like this. I believe it is powdery mildew and mealy bugs. On top of that, this plant is still in its 8” nursery pot after a couple of years. Unsure the state of the roots, but they want to save the plant and repot.

It’s December 21st. She has dropped almost all of her leaves, and her remaining leaves don’t look promising. She hasn’t grown any leaves as long as I have had her.She’s surviving off of a grow light and ~50% humidity. So tell me why there are new leaves suddenly??? I am shook
