I am a subscriber to the old adage “If there’s green, there’s something to save.” With that in mind, I grabbed this sad Moth Orchid off a clearance shelf a month ago. Cut back all the dead/dying leaves, trimmed off the root rot and put it in a good chunky soil mix in a window sill and waited. Today I noticed a new leaf! Feeling very proud plant mom!

Hi all, This may be a silly question but when adding an indoor plant to Planta it asks if the plant is near a heat source. Our house has ducted heating/air conditioning in each room on the ceiling. Do I answer yes or no to this question? TIA

Recommendation time, please help! What plants do you recommend someone who has all the basics down and has managed to keep all the easy plants alive. I’m wanting to expand my collection now that I know I’ll be able to keep them thriving. What are your favorite intermediate plants? Btw I’m planning on revamping my setup because right now plants are just scattered everywhere, I’m gonna get some shelves with grow lights, and I’d like some plants to fill up that space!

I just wanna show little appreciation to my snake plant. Got this baby for Valentine’s Day four years ago, going on strong and six pups😜😜😜😜😜😜😜!!! Im so happpy!!!

My spider plant is not looking good. Originally I had it inside, but had a cat chewing on its leaves so I moved it outside. Today, I bring it inside to do the fertilizing and notice it’s got some browning leaves. What can I do to help her?

Hi all. I was bought a David Austin rose for an early birthday present. The rose arrived with dark marks on which is transport damage from being in the box. But some of the leaves seem dull and dry? There is new growth coming off so no issue there…just wondered if the dull leaves are a result of being transported?

Just been & checked on my dad’s Brussels 😬 does anyone know what’s happened here? I know 100% it’s not slugs which when something like this happens it usually is. No sign of caterpillars so I’m stumped, it’s the only plants this has happened to. Everything else is fine 🤷‍♀️
