My laugh for the day 😂
Verdict on my TC journey. I got 5 different varieties. I potted them in fluval with perlite, with a humidity dome. They sat under a grow light for 12 hours. Two did not make it. A white ice begonia. Basically the leaves melted when removing the agar. The roots looked ok, so I had hope, but it got moldy. Verdict: I probably didn't remove all of the agar. Another that perished was a varigated ficus lyrata, which was the one I really wanted.😭 Verdict: I think it needed more humidity. It looked good for awhile and then shriveled up and died. A variegated frydek is barely hanging on. I'm adjusting humidity. It keeps putting out new mainly, white leaves, with very little green, I think that's why it's having a difficult time. Other thoughts, advice are welcomed. The variegated birds nest hasn't done anything. Verdict: variegated is pretty, but difficult. The only "success" has been the zebra aglaonema, however I'm impatiently waiting for more leaves to grow. 😄 Overall verdict: Tried it, but won't do it again. Let me know your story, success, fails, lessons learned with TC.
This is my zz plant its got 2 yellow leaves whats wrong with it
It's Saturday Spotlight! Pick one plant in your home that deserves extra attention 💚
My Dieffenbachia was very tall but had lost all her leafs from below and as a Dieffenbachia they can't regrow from the bottom only from the top, so I cut her down to size and and she only had 3 leafs 😢 so I put her in a glass, she then started to grow new roots 🥳 (picture 1) and then soooo many more (picture 3) then when she had enough I repotted her and now she has 6 leafs with another one on the way !!! 🥳 🎉 just thought I'd share this if anyone has a Dieffenbachia too and having the same problem
I’ve had my plants in front of a big window all on my kitchen table and I finally put them on a little stand will they be okay with the less light until I can find a different stand or get some lights? Also this is my first year with plants does anyone have car recommendations for the following 1. Monstera 2. Snake plant 3. Ppp ( has pushed two new leaves since coming home and being repotted!) 4. Philodendron brasil 5.Hoya hybrid 6. Variegated heartleaf philodendron

Quick question! Does anyone else mist and use a fan on their plants? I noticed since using a fan the stems look stronger
Combined philodendron prince of orange and philodendron Congo rojo to save space. Rather than 2 wide plants, I have “one”
What is the definition of 'plantlet' on Planta? How does it differ from 'new shoot'? This refers to the choice at the bottom of the progress recording.

This plant was gifted to me and the person that gave it to me has no idea what it is. There were no tags on it. I put it into google and it gave me a few answers. Any one have any ideas?
I’m new to the planting world and two qiestions: 1. Has anyone found a good way to get rid of gnats/fruit flies? I have a Zevo right next to my plant station but they are so bad! 2. Has anyone had any luck in planting in pots without drainage holes? If so, any tricks?
Someone anyone help me save her🤧
