Soooo question?! Most of my babies have been indoors and we just moved to Florida from nd and have a yard now. so I’m wondering how does one get them ready to be outdoor plants. They have all been indoors and thriving since I got them other then the few that are outside due to a bad online order (don’t buy from succulents and co. They ghost you after sending you plants that are decapitated) We are currently staying with my mom and she is also a plant lady. So a lot of her front porch is taken but I’m considering getting myself a green house but I don’t want to shock them by the heat.
Hi everyone, I keep having chipmunks get into my outdoor plants in my patio. Recently I had two pots broken and one plant on the ground. Any advice or tips on how to address the issue? Thank you!
Plants delivered can look a bit wilted like the Hoya Multiflora (Shooting Star). The Hoya Rigida arrived looking very good with a lot of unexpected tendrils! They were delivered with an almost dry potting mix which I prefer for hoyas. Plants that are watered right before shipping tend to arrive with some root rot and yellowing leaves while smelling like dirty socks. 😁 These looked much better a few days after watering. Both were $25 each on sale (plus tax/shipping) from GonzosFamilyGreenery (OfferUp) in San Diego. Both are in 6” hanging pots. This small business uses recycled boxes for shipping. It works for me since the prices are lower than many online stores!
Can anyone tell me what Houseplants like to move outdoors in summer? Is there a good place to find this out? I live in zone 6b with a fairly short season for gardening. But, after moving all my herbs out to the deck, I’d love to move more (like my umbrella trees).
Proud of myself for getting this dwarf caladium to this point from a bulb! I know I’m getting ahead of myself, but when do I know when it’s time for a bigger pot??
Hello! I’ve had my bird of paradise from a small shootling (about 2.5-3 years now) and she’s been doing really well - any ideas of when they flower? I’m desperate to see it!
Look at the plants I bought I kind of went on a shopping spree while trying to get more stuff for my garden
Does anyone know what this is
Is this a spider plant or something else? I just bought it.
Help! I have a Dieffenbachia and when I got it from my SIL it was a baby, and now it’s about 7feet tall. It’s basically a tree at this point. And pretty soon it won’t fit in my house haha. How can I propagate it? Or can I?
What is this, and how do i save it? 🙃 a friend gave me some props but i think i sun burnt it…
I have a prayer plant that is always wilting! Any ideas how to bring it back to life ? I recently gave it a bottom watering to try to have it take the water it needs. I moved it closer to a north facing window thinking it needed the sun but the water and sun are making it wilt even more !
Hey guys, I’m new to this app but I would suggest to anyone who wants a trailing plant that won’t cost you much money get this creeping Pilea Depressa. I handed even had her that long but she’s been amazing.
I think this is new growth on my croton and I am so happy because it has not gotten any growth from the day I got it. It has only died. But since taking some advice from people on this app it has gotten this thing. I hope it’s growth.
This is interesting to me. I just recently purchased this little 2” Hoya Australis Lisa from a greenhouse. On the ride home, a leaf bent in half. I knew that it would die soon. Well, yes, it died and fell off yesterday. BUT, look at how it died. The tip of the leaf is STILL healthy. Just thought I’d share. 🧐💚
Hi, Any tips to improve the health of this baby - Campanula Bellflower?! It looks sad and it hurts my heart :(
When to repot my beautiful Lily ?
Hey plant friends! I have this Moses-in-the-cradle plant I was gifted a cutting in April and it’s growing very well! But it’s getting top heavy. If I don’t have that chopstick in it would fall over. Is this plant suppose to be a trailing plant? Should I put more soil to try to hold it up? Could I cut top pieces off to propagate?
i got this plant as a gift but i have no clue what it is 🙈 Any ideas?
