I just got a hydroponic plant garden for Christmas and I’m wondering if anyone has any tips on what to grow/how to use it?

When the Christmas present you’re most excited about is some great quality rooting hormone (hey I have these pothos props that WILL propitiate if I have anything to say about it lol) 😆 #plantmom!
Merry Christmas all! Here is my new Labisia (Turtle Back) that my son gave me for Christmas. I just love him! I have to get him a proper terrarium…but I’ve made do for now. 🤗 Wishing everyone a happy holiday season! 🎄🎅🏻☃️
The perfect plant buddy with the perfect pot!
I have your bright, northern star right here - flower one of two. Follow it for a mug of half coffee, half chocolate milk, blueberry pop tarts, and a brief and intense moment of dogs eating treats and dogs pulling toys out of a bag. Happy holidays.
Merry Christmas to all my fellow plant lovers 🎄🎅☺️
Got these plantlets for Christmas! Their roots were very small, the biggest one was about probably two inches and the others were a fraction of that. I didn’t have any tiny pots to put them in (they were gifted to me in a wet paper towel) so I tried to clean off as much soil as possible and I put them in water for now until I can get a baby nursery pot. Is this ok? And how do I move forward from here? This is a friendship/money plant.
Do you guys name your plants? I’m so uncreative 🥲. What are some fun names you have to some of your plants and what type of plant is it!
Got some what looks to be a bunch of baby spider plants in a pot today for Christmas, do they look alright? I’ve put them in an indirect medium (sometimes bright) light, is this ok?
Can anyone help with my Coffee plant? Originally the leaves turned brown and I thought it was the Lyme in the water. Eliminated that and they're still browning! Help!
Does anyone have any tips on looking after a polka dot plant? I’ve had mine for 4 months and she’s very temperamental. Anything about watering, light, temperature etc would be much appreciated! She’s doing well at the moment, but I’d like to make her more stable I guess? Thank you, and Merry Christmas :D
Can someone tell me the name of this plant. And any info you may have. It is growing hardly in this zone 7a weather in my yard I didn’t plant it, and have no idea how it got there. Thanks
Any good plant stores you all know about around Tampa,FL? Im going to visit and I have christmas money id like to spend but im unsure of any reputable places, thanks!
Recently learned that if a snake plant leaf has the pointed tip at the end it will continue to grow taller but if it has been broken off it will stunt the growth. I can definitely tell which ones remain pointed 🤩
I have this snake plant that has taken a beating, honestly. It was on a plant stand that had a decorative railing that kept getting snagged on everything as you walked by, causing you to take the plant stand with you as you walked by. This plant took probably 25+ tumbles in less than a year. That being said, we repotted it and got it a new sleeker & smoother plant stand, and it’s doing great. New sprouts like crazy (that piece on the right “facing” the camera is only about a month old) and it’s grown like 8+ inches overall. Now, I have a new “problem” to solve. The leaves are sticking out at all angles and getting in the walking path. I do not want these leaves to snap now that the plant is finally healthy. How do I tie or get these to stay upright? I used twine for a bit, but then it started digging into the plants and the new growths were stopped. Any advice on how to bundle this guy to stay more together and vertical?
Okay, so I know you’re not supposed to fertilize or repot in winter…but like what if they really need it?! My golden pothos has been dropping all its leaves for like 2 months 😥
I am pretty sure that it is a baby rubber plant
Does anyone know the name of this plant?
This red plastic pot got knocked over, so I pulled what I thought were all of the corms out of it, and it sat on a stand in a corner for two months before I put Christmas cactus cuttings in it. Then about a week ago I noticed something sticking up out of the soil and figured it might be a long-forgotten corm. Well, I just got back to check on the greenhouse stuff yesterday and found that I had a whole, tiny leaf, AND one of the other corms finally sprouted and should be putting out a new leaf soon!
Quick question: how do I stop the plant from overflowing so much out of the pot and help it grow upwards, or is it supposed to do that (because it makes the pot fall over)?
